Remove EGO powers from PVP

What really bugs me about all the post like this is that there are perks that detect cloaked players but no-one can ever be bothered to use them because they want to play with overpower... well at the end of the day it's your choice how you play just as it is others on how they play.

Don't whinge and moan and cry up a storm in a tea cup just because this isn't like all the other games out there, just because things are different, because you don't like it , and you aren't willing to use skills that are implemented in the game but you just cba to try them because. Yep decoy means you can teleport from one location to another and track cloaked enemies.. shtako like that is so useless...

I haven't PvPed yet. I am waiting until EGO level 1000 to do it, but I hope they don't remove it. I have always wanted to play as a Sniper with a cloaking ability. The way it should be when it comes to Sniper gameplay, so I hope it stays even if it is unbalanced at the moment because eventually it will get fixed.

Alright guys, first thing, I have played against shotgun/cloak players, we in the FPS world like to call them campers, except these campers like to float around the page. Remember just because they are not cloaked doesn't mean their fire signature is cloaked on the radar (see them toss a flash bang or bio demobilize them till the cloak is gone) honestly I use a Decoy/Grenader build, and it does pretty well in handling these twerps.

Honestly like every other game, where someone builds an annoying build that can kill easily, making it harder for other to kill him. The creators nerf the game to high hell, and it ruins it for everyone else, so rather then nerfing the game, why not create a counter for Cloak users? I liked the alternative effects in PVP, Cloak will destablize after one shot, making it a truer form of sniping ego ability, overcharge will take longer to use and while it does high damage to you, like rage or other "super power" abilitiies in other games, it lowers you def making you easy to kill, Decoy, do not know much for that one as it is pretty much on the bottom of the list and barely used in pvp, and bumrush(as I like to call it) well you have the alternative to being melee'd you have super melee ability( remember when you were a kid and you would run and try to cloths line someone, and in fact the did it to you instead, my point) so yeah lets make a PVP skill base, lets just make the perks and everything an alternative to your PVE skills(no two skill tree set ups)

Thanks for the heads up, I hadn't seen that one as for Kaladan yeah sometimes you do not get those fancy skills, but honestly a good sweep plus a spread of manual detonated grenades...buhbye cloakie

Then take cloak and take the perk that gives you 30% damage?

Like guy you responded to said - you can counter cloak using a perk...but if it's invisibility and the 30% damage you want then take friggin' cloak + another perk.

Honestly thats what we are trying to prevent, but if thats what they want, I think for PVP they should nerf cloak, like all the other EGO abilities, there should be a "PVP Clause"

Either people need to use the counter, or use cloak themselves (or someone in the team could use it, don't need everyone in team with the counter)...or as OP said make all powers useless in pvp...or just make pvp handle differently to how things work in pve.
