Dang. I know they are very, very strict about their ideals. There is nothing wrong with that. I highly respect that. It is great to follow those things. I started this as a joke, but I seriously can see where you are coming from, and I admire it. I even remember seeing the shirts. Cool stuff.
I thought the term was T-total? I don't drink by choice. That doesn't mean I'm under 21. I just choose not to drink, or can't you comprehend that?

You misunderstand. Everything I have seen or heard is that the "Straight Edge" movement means the members drink, or they don't. They are basically (mostly) made up of people under the legal drinking age. There are no "blurry" lines. It's one way or the other. It's black or white. No excuses. No anything. You have one drink and you are not a Straight Edge. I am serious that they had t-shirts (at least in the area where I live). Since you can drink after you are 21, it becomes a bit different. Basically, if you are Straight Edge, you are taking a stand against your fellow high school peers and saying that you will not drink until you are able. It also means you are drug-free, if I remember correctly. I was being serious in saying I respect and admire that. I started this thread with a whole different thought in mind. Maybe I was inappropriate. However, to be Straight Edge is a great thing.

Edit: I genuinely am not sure if it includes having sex or not.

I would like this law passed. I wouldn't have a headache right now if it was.

I do have a mic, and am looking for friends that communicate.
(Voice seems to frequently drop, so I often just type instead too. Yay keyboards.)

Straight edge: refrain from using alcohol, tobacco, and other recreational drugs. For some, this extends to not engaging in promiscuous sex, following a vegetarian or vegan diet, and not using caffeine or prescription drugs.

btw I'm 23 and have never been promiscuous but have sex lol gf lives with me, only thing about straight edge i dont fallow is vegetarian or vegan i love stake lol

I remember (Although not even true at the time) a time when not taking drugs or getting ****faced was "normal" and you wernt catagorized by your ability to not act like a ****, It was just expected that drug and drink abusers were scum. I still think this today and everyone I hear about goes out every night drinking dozens of shots and mixed spirits and ****ing and getting high on weed or club drugs/legal highs...

I see. The image I remember getting (long time ago) was not quite as strict as what you said. I understand now. Thanks for corrections.

So does that I mean you would have to blow into a machine to even start up a game, or does that mean if you will get charged with something totally different if your found guilty. Would the cops be called and waste time and resources tracking the offender to their home in order to apprehend a law breaker. How could this be possible? The logistics alone to actually attempt enforcing this law are mind boggling!!!!

@Jotsu - nice avatar. I always thought "Legend" was a good movie. I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not in your post. Sarcasm isn't easy to make obvious in writing. o.O

Anyway, I started this thread as a facetious kind of thing. If it took a more serious turn, I suppose that's alright too. I respect all these different opinions. I was messing around, seeing as how I wasn't in my right state of mind at the time. I've never had a D.W.I., but I thought the G.W.I. thing was a bit funny (at the time). I still chuckle a little, because I know there are many, many, many people who game drunk, which can make for some interesting situations.
