Thank you Thod, I am giving this a try. I have tried every weapon and even respect points to different ego's twice.

You also have to remember that this is a third person shooter first, which means mostly solo, then it has some mmo aspects in it meaning most, not all instances can be done in small groups, the main part of the mmo is the shadow war.
Trion has been saying this from day one but people have been putting on the MMO blinders and only seeing what they want, so they gave up trying to explain it. I was in the Alpha from Jan, so I have seen what they worked on and know what they wanted.
I do agree the some of the missions should have if you want or need at least one other person, but not more then that.
Um 99% sure that's not a auto response, btw.
As for that fight .. Use any detonator .. one shot and it will send the little guys running in. Works flawlessly for me. Also is great for damaging him when the shield drops.
if you use pyro grenades on the smelters they burst into flame, no getting behind them necessary. give it a shot it works
I waited for the smelters to do the flamethrower thing, when they would remain stationary. Then went behind them and put a few shots into their backs, which would cause them to burst into flames.
Side topic here, though linked to the issue, and I apologize in advance if this sounds callous or insensitive as that isn't my intention, but have you looked into other input devices besides the keyboard? Even something as relatively simple as a g13 or nostromo might make the movement easier for you to manage. I've seen several controllers that will work for PC with large, flat analog sticks that may make things much easier for you, in many games, not just Defiance.
Your Challenger won't drive? You're probably in the passenger seat.
Can't sell/delete an item? Check all of your loadouts, it's likely still equipped.
Auction house? Why? It'll just render bits purchased lock boxes pointless, and weapons are mostly equal anyway.
Gear/enemy progression? No thanks, it'll only render 90% of the content trivial when you reach the highest zone.
Hey Cappraa,
if you didn't already manage to kick this guy's *** (which I sincerely hope), another advice I heard of:
It doesn't matter how you ignite those little guys. Flamenades, guns with the fire-property (shotguns should work best) and so on should do the trick. There is also a detonator (think he is called "incinerator")which has a description that sounds something like "leaves a patch of fire". This one has a 100% chance to ignite the target on hit. There's also a rocketlauncher like this. Try them out, due to the blast-radius it should be rather easy to hit those little buggers and send them running!
Are you playing EU or US? Also which Egolvl do you have? Maybe I have such a launcher in my inventory, which I'd gladly give to you. (Damn those solo-missions, otherwise I'd make Jackleg Joe kneel before you and apologize for his sins)
Also Trion, shame on you for not helping a woman in need!![]()
if you have a friend you know well you could also have him log in for you and complete the mission if you still cant get it, the final mission will also probably give you some trouble.
wish i had some way i could help out.
I'm pretty sure it isTrion has been laying off a ton of ppl and have ignored and neglected their player-base completely in Rift so I don't see why it would be any different here...
I'm really sorry about your situation OP, but Trion has dramatically changed and really doesn't give a crap about you or your issues as evidenced by that lame generic letter they sent you. Quite sad and tragic really when they fk off their handicapped player base...
Perhaps if you were to approach the media outlets with this type of "treatment," I'm sure Trion would start singing a different toon ESPECIALLY since they are connected with Syfy and well, that channel can't really afford any negative press...
