SO my first week of playing Defiance was spent downloading the 10+ gigs of the client, where i would get 50%,70%, or once 90% then the game would tell me i had an error and restart downloading the entire thing over again. Saturday the 6th i finally got the client downloaded and i got to actually play the game, for one week.

Now we have this GIGANTOR patch that really does nothing to the game (until a dev tells us why we needed 4.2 gigs, its a giant patch) and i get to play download the patch. i have reached 80% once but nope it will stop downloading and then i have to restart the client and then WHAMMO i get to start it over again.

Why is this still an issue for us, the paying customers ?

Why was this not a priority for a patch of a this size, to have the patcher WORK like even a crap Free 2 Play Korean knockoff can do ?

Your customer service SUCKS, i get nowhere with them, i get no answers from devs and the 1 or 2 who comment on the forums IGNORE this just like they did with the recent patch release.

Didn't the fact that you guys had to send the full client to a reviewer on a usb thumb drive (Angry Joe, go watch his review if you want proof) tell you as developers your patcher is GARBAGE ?

Whatever if i have to wait till Saturday again to play a game i have spent over $120.00 on, i am done with Trion then, i will cancel my Rift account and never touch a Trion product again.

This is beyond unreasonable for gamers to have to endure this type of horsecrap.

Oh and sorry for the harsh language i am sure you will use that as a lame excuse to ignore this issue or whatever else you need to just pretend it does not exist.

Sorry shameless bump, i need a dev to see this and make some bit of effort to help me and others in the same situation.

Bumping again, either this will get locked and that means a moderator saw this thread and DID NOTHING, or i will keep bumping it till something happens.... like a dev posting how they plan to FIX the patcher so it resumes properly ???
