Im hearing a lot of bad stuff about the game, its even coming over to Rift forums about how bad it is.

Its more that we live in an age where mediocrity is something to whine about. The games alright, by no means "excellent." But if you have $60, and nothing better to do with your time. Also if you want to watch the show.

Initial there a lot of content, and I would say worth it, but finding out that they will remove some missions because it ties in with the TV Episodes is disappointing.

I am still enjoying, but now I am disappointed in this course of play. It tells me that if I don't play every moment of the week I will miss something that is specific to the show that airs next week. I would hate for a RL event get in the way and miss something.

How does this play out for the future of the game, or the replay ability as a different character. At the moment you only need to choose one character and stick with it, if you don't you will miss something in the experience.

At the moment I am a little upset about the game.

its not bad. people are just impatient and crazy. speaking on behalf of ps3. PC people, i would be flipping out too. slow patcher takes days? insane

it really depends, there's such a mixed review pool, if you're keen on a third person shooter with an MMO structure and mild RPG elements then it's pretty good.

I think it's worth what I paid for it, but I can only really speak for myself.

I, personally regret the purchase, I expected more, but other people like it.

I would wait a little while longer until some more bugs are stamped out, if $60 is a big purchase for you that is. Then check back and see how things are going.

While they're removing some episodic content, there's plenty of time to complete the content, and they've talked about having a 'rerun' style way about it. Remember, there is an off-season between seasons.

That doesn't speak as much volume as you think it does. Been playing Rift since Beta 3 and the community there has taken a nose dive, it's a very entitled and snobbish community at the moment.

Hows the game guys im sure its not worth the price ?

Well so far its not worth the HASSLE, first week of release i spent the entire week trying to DL the client (go watch Angry Joes review on youtube).

Now this week i have tried 19 times to DL the 4.2 gig patch but it keeps giving me an error at 50% 70% and once at 90%.

I would love to tell you if this game is worth the cost but i cant do that since all i get to do is DOWLOAD CRAP.
