EGO System and In-game Help

1. Your EGO system and weapon system is unigue and was wondering if you have plans to evolve this in time? Not just balance.

2. People new to this type of game may find the EBO system, weapon synergy and how weapons evolve to be a bit confusing. Are you planing to introduce online help or tutorials within the game?

Synergy Mods

Will more synergy mods be released in the near future . And does it matter what mod you use on a weapon to get the bonus.

As I understand it, the MOD synergy has to align with the pre-existing synergy on the weapon to take effect. So, if your gun has Survivalist [2] on it, you need 1 survivalist MOD to get the effect to work.

Anyone care to correct that if it's wrong...?

Melee Weapons

Will there be any melee weapons released in the game.

Melee weapons are some of the trickiest weapons to balance - they have to be good enough to get in close, but not too good that they kill everything. Never say never!

I started downloading this earlier today. A few minutes ago it said I had 11 minutes left and now it jumped to 8 more hours. Why is this happening? Q.Q

Our patcher adjusts on the fly - sometimes it's checking to see what's going on with your internet and dialing back, other times it may be checking to see if you already have certain files and skipping over them (making the time remaining look small)

Why RPG and TPS? More landmass?

what made you decide that the game was going to be an RPG, and third person. why not a FPS, strategy etc?

can we expect more land mass in the upcoming DLC? sorry if its been asked.

The design started a long time ago and it had to do with making (at it's core) a fun game that was easy to pick up and play. Using the third person shooter mechanic allows most people to pick up and play.

Clan System not up to Trion's own standards?

i'm member of a very large outfit in planetside 2, are there any limitations of "clan" size in game and if so are there any plans on increasing them to accomidate potentially very large guilds playing? ( 666 devil dogs 4k members)

Currently our clan system isn't quite everything we were hoping it would be - but that's one of our big things we are working to improve. We want people to play with friends and more importantly make it meaningful.
