What is your HONEST opinion of Defiance

I think most of us can agree it is a solid 6-7 at the minimum. It's pretty fun and addictive, but it does have some hiccups. Its not a stellar game, and social aspects can definitely be improved but damn it is hard to put the controller down.

Love the game but hate the bugs. The game itself meets all of my expectations while leaving room for growth, which seems to be a rare sentiment among gamers and reviewers a like.

The game like most has it's ups and downs. I like the fact that Xbox360 has a new mmo, which is really cool because it's on console.
At the start I loved the game very very much, but repetitive games get old somewhat quickly. Well least to say I hope they release DLC pretty soon or lots of people will be very bored of it. I thought the few co-op maps were great, but the challenges for the boss's were a bit tough, such as "The Motherload". It kept me going back to the co-ops through the pursuits, but after those were done the only time I go back to them is if I need some quick keycodes or just to plainly help a friend or friends's pursuit challenges, because the suits and head gear are pretty sweet, I personally like the "Emc Heavy Trooper" suit with head gear.
As far as the main story goes, it was a challenge at the end with (*SPOILER ALERT*) killing Nim, the main story has lots of great parts and scenes but now with the new thing they added where you can redo the main missions is just simply great! You get boxes
at the end of them now with random loot, like the tier boxes.
The Multiplayer side of things to say the least BLOWS. I mean if you have a shotgun,cloak,and a heavy shield then your set for a good match but it seems like that's all about so it's not really Multiplayer, it feels like "Gears Of War 3" with shotguns being the chosen weapon of many, for very good reasons, but this game I don't think its meant for that at all, or that is was their intentions.
Overall it's on the scale of 10, it's in my book a 7/10.
But hey, they will sure to be adding new content and fixing the major bugs and things that I have not gotten into gotten into detail about. They are missing a banking/storage system, they are also missing a auction house type thing. Just simple things like that, that would make the game 10x better.

I personally am loving the game. It has been a while since I got addicted to a game and have spent most of my free time blasting away at every alien, human, and bug that gets in my way. There are some bugs that seriously need to be fixed and even some bugs that are good in a way. Example, my accounts boosts got glitched and now I have 167 hours of all but rep lol

your boost are all at 167hrs why? i have had the boost from last week about 20hrs left, but i also have loot boost at about 167hrs, im not sure where that came from

Great game with a lot of potential. Just need to fix some things here and there and its good to go......also add an auction house, at least on the defiance website. Maybe some factions, different mounts etc: hellbugs,scrappers

I see a lot of good and bad things posted on this forum about Defiance. Personally I love the game, the fact of having an MMO on a console is huge for me. There is some fixing/patching to be done in the game as with any other MMO. But I think this game is amazing, and I can't wait to see what they do with it. What do you guys think of the game so far? Love it? Regret buying it? Mixed feelings?

I love the game, But it needs more areas to go. Harder enemies, New loot. Some Dungeons that are actually HARD and rewarding (Loot ).

Auction house is a must.

Fun game, great with friends. I do wish the stores offered more items at one time. Also, having to pay real money to buy in-game currency is a bummer, but seems to be the going trend with the growing use of microtransactions in games.

I can not wait to see where the game goes. Right now it is kindof a mashup of Fallout, Borderlands, and Rift.
