LOL its a MMO there is NO endgame its not CoD.

I had to do a double take at what you just said. 99% of successful mmos do in fact have endgame content. As a matter of fact, it happens to be one of the big selling points of mmos as grinding out endgame content for gear and/or currency to buy gear on its daily or weekly reset is what gives most mmos their replay value. Suffice it to say the most successful mmos do in fact have this; and defiance simply falls flat in this area.

Ill have to agree with cada on the whole endgame comment even for a released new game bein 60$ we could of had some sorta endgame to do after main mission

Actually most of us are adults who have played MANY, MANY MMO's, FPS, RPG games for the last 25 years and can tell a rushed game when we see it.

Maybe its you and players like you that need to get off the fan boy wagon and wake up. Most if not all of us are not whining or QQ'ing about the game issues like VOIP, or lost items, game crashes. We all have played worse then this when playing the first couple of weeks to months of a MMO. Played DCUO from beta to 2 years in and it still has issues, but the game was at least it was fun and you had many challenging things to do.

Right now at 1474, the only things I have left to do are broken, but even the contracts and pursuits that we are supposed to be doing are so mundane and boring that there is not point in doing them.

I loved the idea of Defiance, TV show and all. But the execution of the game is lacking and badly. They want to get you to group up, but making most tasks solo... even the co-ops are boring. Ive played 2,4,8 man in DCUO a thousand times and had fun. But playing these over a few times makes me want to bore my eyes out with my controller.

Arkfalls are so common, that it takes the fun out of playing them. If they were a few times a day, they would become an actual exciting event to go play. Like Shadow wars have become as they harder to get 50 players to get into.

Maybe the worst is the guns, who was the idiot that came up with using guns as XP, you get good weapons only to have to mod them and spend resources to add slots to them if they are just going to be tossed in a day.

I and others want/wanted this game to succeed, we spent money like the rest of you. But we've seen other good and bad MMO's and unfortunately this is going to down the bad path.

Look the PS3 patch thats now almost a week late, is not helping many of us keep playing. Hard to want to do more, until it can actually work. PvP I can not get accumulative numbers to count towards goals, after every game I only see my last games stats. So even PvP that I could be playing until the patch to still have fun is so broken that I don't even want to get on. Co-op missions, commander cronkite I can't even get into since launch. So what go do the same contracts over and over again, whats that get any of us..

maybe because even despite the bugs, or delayed patches, he enjoys the game ?

I know for some people, playing video games is limited to cry on forums or touch themself on pvp stats. But ... still !

you can bust out all the logical argument and facts you want but its ultimately futile cuz the dumb*** fanboys will never listen even tho not a single one has put forth a legitimate counter-argument hell more often than not they take the childish path and resort to name calling (as many have already done in this post)
