its an "mmo" because it world is shared and connect to a game that actually IS an mmo (EVE online) and thinsg taht happen in EVE effect Dust and vice versa also players i EVE can come into Dust and help you (they can bombard the battle ground your fighting on from space in tehir ships.. and if teh Dust players youer fighting against have friends in EVe then they can get those frinds to shot down your friends ships to stop the orbital strikes etc etc) lol thats CCP and its all fans excuse when the "its no even an mmo" comments come up
ummm battles being restricted to 32vs32 = massive? ok CoD, battlefields and every other FPS is an MMO too...

That's because one is actually a Si-fi MMO shooter and the other is a lobby based Si-Fi fps within a MMO game called EVE online. Dust 514 is not a real MMO. Dust 514 only has 32 players, in that case starhawk and MAG are MMO.
well Zipper actually does call MAG an mmo which I dont agree with but 256vs256 is a helluva lot closer to MMO than 32v32 lol
