Because, beyond the link between the two, they're two entirely different games with completely different gameplay.

That's kind of like asking "why would you play SWTOR when you had X-Wing to satisfy your Star Wars itch?"

I honestly doubt any EVE player interested in shooters would have said "Dust? Not interested.. already playing EVE for my shooter fix.. wait, no.."

Anyway, let's not go further off topic.

Xwing isnt connected to SWTOR at anyway... EVE and Dust are piratically teh same game, they share the same world, same economy, same currency, they trade between the two.. the only difference is EVE takes place n space aboard ships whereas Dust takes place on the ground on planets on foot.

MMO is more then just having massive multilayer. In that cast bf3 is a mmo it has 64 players when dust only has 32. There is no quest in dust just pvp. Sorry but its not a mmo so check your self bro.

iv played both, i was in the beta for dust during its very very early stages. it was an awesome game. but since second or third build they have gone down hill. and a falling faster every day.

they spent to much time undoing what they made to pander to the whiny sods, oh my * can kill everything. ccp would then go and nerf everything.

learn from this trion. it ruined that game, dont let it ruin this

and if you have played defiance on pc, (beta alpha etc) then its exactly the same for ps3. so thats a good basis
