for me Eve is best & only real MMORPG on market ,but , I am vote for Defiance,hope it ll be best shooter mmo on market

Eve has a large fan base. I suspected that when Eve online fans found out, even if they weren't going to play Dust, that they'd support it out of "loyalty" instead of fans of just those games supporting their respective game. I'd expect the same thing to happen for a hypothetical game that tied into World of Warcraft even is most it's players wouldn't be playing either.

eve has not only a loyal fan base as hydro pointed out. but id say a fanatical one. there what 300,000 player base vs a game thats yet released.
i figured it would go that way. personally i have many grievenices against dust. and i was very much looking forward to it at the time.
we were never going to win anyway. not because of who should win, but because they have the numbers.

i'll have to play the beta first, but DUST is far better than most shooters IMO and will be very epic with its battles when it combines play with EVE truly. However, the premise for this game seems just as epic
