If I didn't know they existed I'd think orange weapons were a lie ego 1200 and I've not had any joy yet, though probably when I do finally get one it will be something I don't use

I've heard some claim to get them on the first box, others have opened many and not found a single one.

I had 15 orange items (guns only) i now have like 13 after selling some, just keep trying, not sure if its luck or the game hates you because i am only ego rating 638

I sure hope I find some too, but my ego level is only a 385 or so. I only got 1 lockbox so far which was tier 4 but I sold it all since I had better current items at the time.

It is sooooooooo random when you would get an Orange item. That is their hook to keep you playing.
Look at GW2, they have a RNG that is so unforgiving. I know people that get the top item on the first try. others spend over $100 for the chance to get an item and do not, yet spend more in the attempt of hope.

That said I got an Orange Infector...too bad it is a low lever version and has no true way to up grade it enough.

I received an orange rocket launcher on my first Tier 4 Lockbox, never had any luck since, ended up selling the launcher later for 10k, as it really was awful, and I never used it.
