As the topic states... HI! I'm Kerry!

I often hang out and post in the general discussion area of the forums and I noticed something. I figured that I could bring it here and either people would be brutally honest, or they simply wouldn't care and this thread would swiftly slip into the abyss.

Keep in mind that this is my first message board experience, so I am rather ignorant to the social norms contained within. One thing I do however notice is that after I post something I am often ignored. Now this could be due to the fact that I'm a girl, or most people don't bother to read through a thread any further than the first page.

What I wanted to ask was, those of you that have seen me, am I doing something wrong to push people away or possibly alienate myself? I mean, usually the active poster gets flamed once and a while and I cant remember anyone ever throwing a flame on me!

Anyway, please chime in, or continue ignoring me, either way I'm fine, but if I'm doing something wrong, clue me in!

Threads just die through general disinterest, im not saying you not interesting or anything like that (I haven't been on the forum long so I haven't read many of your post apart from this one) I think of forums as a mullet general discussion (business up front) off topic (party behind) many you could spend more time in off topic where it seem to be far more casual and create or join topics about hobbies or interest many other would join in. Just a thought.

Yes I remember a few posts, but don't feel a need to post if I don't have accurate answers. If you use logic, grammar, and thought then most probably nod silently in agreement and move on. This is confusing for others that normally "yell" all over the threads. They don't know what to make of it and leave in bewilldered? Thank you for a long look at the community. It is nice to see the overall response. It's like racing to the next arkfall from the start over Mt Tam down to San Fran (bumping into a few things and running over, but overall a fun ride). The only question is will we make it across the bridge?
