I should have added this in to my last post, but here it is anyways:

I'm not saying that everything should be free, just that they shouldn't expect people to pay for in-game stuff the first day the game is out. Also, I'm saying it would be nice if they could toss us a free bone every now and then, through advertising that is. I realize they need to make money, but, like every other game developer, Trion really needs to think about the cost of extra content. After playing Skyrim's DLC, I feel let done by DLC, $20 for Dragonborn and it isn't anywhere near a third the size of the original game (closer to 1/6 if that). I have read that Defiance's DLC will bring new races and am now hoping that this doesn't mean we'll have to start a new character for said races, unless that means a new story line .

Thanks, but I think at times I was a little bit rude and apologize for that. When i was typing it, it didn't sound rude, but after reading it again, it does slightly.

Also, thank you for being respectful, and I too enjoy this game. My only other problems with it, are at times it can feel a bit empty and lonely and I've lost my best weapon, my second best weapon's damage was reduced by half, and I don't belief that I have received my Ark Codes rewards (haven't checked today.)

If you aren't already in a clan I can add you to <Panic Nation>. We are small but we are a group of very friendly gamers. We have a facebook page and mainly play Judgement, Black Ops II and Defiance.

We are always looking for more people to play with. We do Arkfalls, Co-Ops, PvP and more near daily.

I'm actually about to go run and play some Black Ops II right now since we are working on earning a medal through a daily challenge.

Speaking of purchase fees, do you realize that you paid for a game that you can only play on the contingent that:
a) You have internet connection.
b) You have Xbox Live (Xbox 360 only).
c) Its servers are up.
If all of these conditions are not met, except requirement b in some cases, then you cannot play the game you paid for. So that game you just bought, isn't really even yours.

Yeah, but in every other MMO you only need to pay for internet server and a small fee to play the MMO. Whereas for Defiance on the Xbox, you need to buy the MMO, pay for the internet server and pay for Xbox Live. Also, in other MMO's you pay a monthly fee, so if the MMO shuts down you're not really having anything taken from you, except the time you invested, because you never really owned it to start with, you were just "renting" it. With Defiance, you bought the game, so if the servers shutdown there goes your game, basically as if it was stolen from you. So basically we bought a game, but don't actually own it. I don't know about you, but I'd rather not have one of my games turn into a $60 paper weight.

I like this game and I spent like $5 on some extra inventory space a few days after I started playing but that's as much as I'm willing to spend on this game beyond the initial $60. I'm not a fan of shilling crap for real money and I rarely buy this sort of stuff but I get why game companies are doing it and I get why an mmo with no sub fee would try to make a little extra cash. And I don't mind the way Trion is putting their store into the game, its very unobtrusive. I mean there could be vending machines that sell cash only items in the game world. Damn, I hope I didn't just give them an idea.

I know right. I didn't pay $60 for this game and pay $60 every year to get more expenditures thrown at me. Seriously, I payed for the full game, not to play the game the first day its out only to realize there is already restricted content that can only be unlocked through bits. Why should I have to pay to have the best content the game has to offer; where's the fun in that? I can understand DLC that comes out awhile after the game and isn't worked on until after the game's release, but to charge people for extra stuff the first day a game is out is ridiculousness. If you're in that much of a need for money, have some ads in the descriptions of guns or something like that. You guys could even throw in some billboards and put slogan graffiti on buildings.

I agree with you cosidering during thier live streams they said "this is a complete game the only micro-transactions are XP boost" turned out to be BS. Specialy the prices they want for the ****. I mean come on TRION 880 Bits for an outfit, the hell you guys been smoking to make you think that actual adults with bills and responsibilities would throw $11 for a single outfit or $5 for a lockbox that is not granted to actually be worth any special value. I can get actual full DLC's for those prices. As far as I see it the Defiance shop is one massive scam and nothing in there is worth what they ask.
