I don't know how quickly you get them, but I think there are 9 perk slots.

More than that, about 11(maybe more, not sure).

Just been doing some more digging and have found out that you are able to have multiple (6+) perks on at one time, in turn when you are higher ranked you are able to have more perks associated with one preset build. If that is true, what could be the max because we could actually end up becoming a monster if the number of perks available to have on if over say, 15? What do you lot think about this?

Now that would be interesting to know, but what I do know is that there are various models of vehicles. I personally cannot answer that question because I do not know the answer. Sorry Defy.
