i just got the game for PC but whenever i hit play nothing happens. i don't get an error message or anything. i have entered the validation code and have tried uninstalling and re installing the launcher with no change. please help i don't know whats wrong.

Have you installed the full client ?
More then likely you need to re-download the entire Client and start over.
Try opening the launcher as administrator

having a similar problem just bought game and down loaded it. I get the game interface, I click update this takes 30 mins to complete, then I hit play all I get from then on is a white flashing rectangle on the screen I can hear music but no keys work.
have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times now still the same thing.
I am running on a brand new alienware laptop with windows 8. so at a loss as to why this would happen
