I cant help but think 'Frak' EVERY time i hear them say Shtako.... Gotta love the censors ha!

It's only a censor for the show, the game actually swears...a lot, if you haven't noticed. I had a tanker tell me he was going to "F*** me up"

But yeah I have to agree, All I hear is Frak instead of Shtako!

I am somewhat disappointed with the swear words in both the game and the series. To be honest I wasn't really all that impressed by them in Galactica or Farscape before that. By the way they didn't originate in the modern context with Farscape. I remember characters in both Deep Space Nine and Space Above and Beyond throwing out racial slurs. Dren, Frel, Frak, and Shtako are just trying too hard to sound like real curse words. Which only makes them sound goofy.

It is only when curses are attached to a more complex context do they sound actually profane. Otherwise it is just gibberish trying too hard. To me nothing is going to sound quite so vulgar as a character being called a stupid tank, or a filthy ****** neck.

BSG is some of the best tv made in the past 10 years bar none. As well as the best thing syfy has ever produced.
