From One Sniper To The Devs

I feel like the "snipe from the shadows 3" pursuit is a little rediculous in this sense.

I am a hardcore bolt action sniper player, and by this i mean every shooter game i play, i prefer the traditional sniper role of sitting back at a long distance and picking enemys off.

While i full heartedly understand getting pistols to rank 5 for the "snipe form the shadows 2" ( since pistols are an obvious offhand choice in real life and generally in all shooters)

But what i cant understand is that you want me to get 5000 sniper kills ( which is perfectly reasonable ) with the bolt action, but also get a semi auto sniper to rank 10

Yes yes i know... rank 10 isnt difficult, just takes time

But why cant these things be " get 5000 kills with either a bolt action OR semi auto sniper"
And get either a bolt action OR semi auto sniper to rank 10

I despise semi auto snipers for the simple fact that sniping for me is based around 1 shot 1 kill... Having the option to "spray" isnt sniping (( this is strictly my personal view ))

I would rather have to get 10,000 kills with a bolt action then to EVER use a semi auto

It would be really nice if you get rid of this crap in the category of guns that takes the most time to level and is easily the hardest set of weapons to use effectively

I am on my hands and knees begging for you to change this so that i can use just my bolt actions and accomplish these things without having to use semi autos

Honestly they are easy compared to the BMG been doing the BMG for 2 days and have given up i just dont have the patience for it.

Did semis to 10.. on my last thousand with bolt kills..
I think snipe from the shadows is supposed to be proof of your sniping prowess.
As such, having a test of "being good" in both bolt and semi makes sense.
It could be worse, it could have been 5,000 kills for each, instead of just rank 10...

I'm do prefer a similar playstyle myself, but there has to be some challenge involved to unlock the more difficult pursuits

Finished 5k bolt kills today, missing 5 levels of semi... Seriously the worst weapon type in the game. Wouldn't be so bad if you at least could aim reliably from the hip.

That would be the quick repeater. It's got a very good hip fire.

I can't stand semi-autos. Absolute garbage. I'm SOOOOOO fecking happy that I'm 9 and a 1/2 with semi-autos as I miss the good ol' one shot one kill of a good ol' bolt-action sniper rifle.
