Weapon Level has stalled and is not increasing after new patch

Okay everyone if this is just an oversight from me regarding weapon leveling tell me what i am doing wrong but if not watch this video and tell me if anyone else is having an issue. also as you could see near the end that turret side mission is quite bugged as well since i was mashing and holding x only getting a few to work http://www.twitch.tv/trigonxv/c/2172955 also my weapon level is no where near capped, i was working the pistol the whole time and was not increasing one bit as you can see when i constantly check after i kill a lot of enemies

I'm having this issue as of some time yesterday i think.

None of the weapons i have equipped are fully levelled and yet their xp/ damage bars seem to have frozen as have the main weapon level bars on the stats page.

I'm also showing up as having done zero damage on any co-op map or arkfall i do which may or may not be related.

Anyone else having the same issues as us?

I'm going to go though my inventory when i start playing today and make a note of all the current weapon xp values so i can continue to check them as i play. Hopefully it was just a temp glitch or something i was overlooking....

To level in a weapon field you must have a weapon of that type and that weapon can not be at max exp. Weapons start out with 0 exp. As you gain exp with that individual weapon that exp gets added to the weapon category and to that weapon as well. So if you have 98000/980000 exp showing on your weapon your using, it will no longer aid in leveling up that weapon category. You have to equip a weapon of the same type that isn't maxed on it's own exp to gain more exp in that weapons category. Make sense?

I thought mine had frozen too, but I just kept going (changing me AR when the bar was maxed) and it then showed that I had levelled up 3 times since it last informed me.
You might still be levelling up, but it just isn't showing you. That's what happened with me anyways

My current infector has only been part levelled but is no longer increasing. eg. Specific weapon level 123456/600000.

That number is no longer increasing and consequently neither is the general weapon type skill.

ive been having this issue as well, since release to boot, ive got over 200k kills and no weapon higher then 7 :/ most of my weapons are stuck at 2 and 3 my LMG finally hit 7 and ive done the majorty of my kills with it and my rocket which is still 3 :/

No problem. What I would say is though that the progress bar was always increasing with me. I just wasn't getting notification of the increase in level.
It sounds as though your issue may be worse than mine
