    Why do time trials add 3 seconds to the end of your time?

    Why do time trials add 3 seconds to the end of your time? This is preventing me from getting gold in a lot of the races... I finish a race with 51 seconds for the Gold medal, the game says I completed it in 54 and gives me a silver... FFS Every time!

    I am not seeing it every time but I am seeing it enough to be frustrating.
