You guys do realize that eventually...probably in 1,000 years or so...all...most...of the races will hybridize. Like the Humans, Castithans, Irathians, and Indogenes will be probably integrate to be a singular species? Like I said it will probably take 1,000 years or so...enough time for the Human race to inherit ForeRunner Tech, defeat the Flood, and create the Galactic Federation.

Doubt it. 1000 years certainly wasn't enough to get rid of the different races with just the human species.

It would probably take more than a thousand years if it ever did actually happen. You'd be surprised at how resistant to outside influences a lot of people, and cultures, can be.

In truth, xenophobia is probably a lot more widespread than what is shown in the series.

With that being said, it seems that some hybrids could already be out there. When Nolan told the mayor that Irisa was his daughter her reaction was to say, "She seems pure blood." So I would hazard a guess that they have seen Human and Irathient offspring already.

We know from the Mayor of Defiance that at the very least humans and Irathiant can have offspring together.

From the fact that Casanith were hitting on Nolan and the two kids suggests that at humans and them have similar sexual organs.
