Mad Max references!

Okay, i think some of the bigger geeks here has noticed the abundant Mad Max references in defiance. Lets keep count.

1. Outlander outfit. Outlander has you wearing a sweet leather jacket like mad max but a little more.... casual
Also outlander was the name of a sega genesis game HEAVILY inspired by Mad Max 2. Trion you clever developer.

2. Dodge Challenger. Covered in crafty makeshift armor and the fastest car in the game. Also you can unlock a black version. Finally a game that lets me live out my middle school fantasies!

3. Sawed Off Shotgun. While not a direct reference, it does make a pretty bad *** edition to your black challenger.

4. Overall mad max feel. Characters, setting and other vehicles are definitely mad max inspired. Show has a nice feel too.

Well thats it. Anyone else have a suggestion list at the box below and lets hope for more badassery from trion.

Honestly it would be easier to list the post-apocalyptic games/movies/books that Defiance doesn't at the least give a nod to

1.) Some unfinished RPG I was working on for the heck of it.

yeah that's probably it.



Not complaining or anything, I kinda like that Trion is acknowledging some awesome stories like Mad Max and Falloit.
