Controled burst mag question

So i was wondering, say i put the mod on an semi auto heavy assault riffle, the burst will be fast fireing like the regular burst assault rifle or it will be a slow burst?

All what the mod does is cause burst fire. I have one on my unique EMC rifle and the burst speed is almost as fast or maybe faster than a TACC rifle.

I also dont think it works for semi autos. Havent experimented yet so just dont know.

It works beautifully on Semi-Auto Carbines, having a quick 3 round burst of 440 damage is nice. Though the bloom is rough even when scoped.

I put it on my burst rifle thinking I would have a 6 round burst... instead I wasted the resources to scrap 2 level 3 mods, the scrip to buy this piece of crap, the 2 level 3 mods I had on it, and it didn't do anything to my burst.

So I can confirm it DOES NOT add to a burst weapon. They really need to explain things better in the game.

I put one on a rocker and it actually reduced the burst length from 5 to 3 but made it a little faster I think.
