I think it's just difference of opinion in most cases. I played Bioshock Infinite, thought it was good but wont play it again and it was nowhere near a masterpiece in my book, just a good solid shooter. It had a few moments but I struggled to actually want to finish it. This game however has sucked me right in and I can't put it down. Yes it's bugged and has more problems than I could probably list, but it's doing it for me. This probably says more about me and my tastes than the games themselves. But that said, this disc will be in my tray in 6 months, Bioshock wont.
The score he is talking about is from IGN which hasn't been a reputable source for game reviews for years. Also....CharmCitysKing has just making post after post about how/why Defiance is bad.
If you don't like it so much why are you still on the forums talking about how much you don't like it? Wouldn't your time be better spent doing something you DO like to do. This would have the added benefit of saving us having to look at your negative posts over and over and over
DeWitt and Comstock are the same person from different universes. There, game ruined for you now go play Defiance.
no, that's not how Halo Fanboys operate. They are severely threatened by any Xbox Multiplayer shooter than isn't Halo, so they desperately need to go out of their way to bash it. that's how it was with Battlefield, Call of Duty, and pretty much every other MP shooter on the Xbox 360 that I have seen.
instead of like....playing Halo and having fun.
If you don't enjoy a game, don't play it.
I enjoy the game, so I play it.
To your original query; ask Black Isle and Bethesda how long it took to make Fallout 3 and how they managed to make it so pristine and bugless. Or Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim. Or Bioware and Kotor/Mass Effect/Dragon Age. Oh that's right. They didn't. Still rather fine games, on the whole.
