because if the shier quality of bio shock but saying that I played 3 playtroughs of bio shock of was bored as hell that game kept me entertained for about a week at max gave up on the trophies felt like a grind BUT defiance? Put around 100 hours in an not even thinking about stopping so much more to offer !!! Suck s better game more to do and we'll just fun!!! Sorry but bio shock is 9.5 the first time you play it yer but from then on its boring 4/10 for replay ability and defiance 8/10 for replay this game is much better than bio shock even after you complete it **** game reviews man , just proves that they have no idea what that are talking about .....
yep, creators of bioshock should implement brilliant concept "press and hold X million times to win" in their game in order for you to keep entertained. This is the main problem of modern games, that amount of content is primary target. It ruined assasins creed, dead space, TES series and many others. All this primitive mini-missions, useless multiplayers and coops where they a re not needed, dificulties unlocked after multiple playthroughs... All that just to tie stupid nolifers to the screen for longer and let them fill ther empty life. I say **** your "replay ability", give me interesting clever stories without cliches and with a lot of impressions.
Erm yer ... Bio shock is amazing I've played almost every single aaa title and bio shock Is defgo top ten BUT if I had the option to play the laughable 9 hours for each play trough no thanks don't get me wrong is a beautiful game top notch story graphics and overall quality but IMO if I pay £40 I want to still have stuff to do Like press "x" even tho its square but anyway defiance has an epic fail of a story line graphics suck ****e load of bugs but do you no what? It keeps me ENTERTAINED after 100+ hours I'm sorry if you put 100 hours into a game like bio shock it's that liner you would most likely die from Bordem so what I'm saying is erm well o dw real gamers see where I coming from ( and yes this is most likely spelt horrible sorry lol )
That's an extremely narrow, if not ignorant, critique. "Split Universes / Space time continuum garbage" is far from "idiotic" - aye, it's scientific. Copenhagen's Many Worlds Interpretation, Quantum theory - innumerable like-minded empirical scientific queries would fervently argue against your classification of the two aforementioned topics as "garbage." As for the "Bioshock" title resulting in a good review and a game not being dead in the water, I'll take this time to remind everyone of Bioshock 2, which we can all, including critics, agree was pretty terrible. If you're claiming BI uses a recycled "Time jumper storyline," I'd request you post a couple of titles from which they borrowed their plot; I'm sure your argument would be all too simple to debunk.
This all the way! The first Bioshock was a masterpiece in story telling, so many underlying plots and nuances, so much detail. While Bioshock 2 was underwhelming and partly due to the fact that the original team had hardly anything to do with it Infinite came roaring back with Ken Levine back at the helm.
Defiance while fun is sorely lacking on many levels and remains broken in so many areas.
I think that Defiance deserves something higher than a 5.5. At the same time, Bioshock Infinite earned its score. That game is unbelievably amazing.
