Maybe he is here because he too likes the concept of the game and would like to see it improve so that it will be around for the long haul. Or maybe it's because he isn't a fanboy and because of that he can see the major flaws that need to be fixed. In either case his opinion is of more worth than 50 of yours.

it is not nonsense. it actually did happen.
what happened is that when bethesda shipped fallout 3, it was on the new gambryo engine that they had no experience with.
as long as fallout 3 was only able to run on a single core, there was no issue. as soon as fallout 3 was able to run on multiple cores, if you had the following setting:
bMultiThreadAudio=1
which was the default setting, you got a crash on exit. so anyone who played fallout 3 on a multicore PC CPU, and anyone who had an Xbox and ran Fallout 3 on exclusive mode would experience this crash whenever they exited the game, or when the number of sounds exceeded something like 4-5 audio tracks being played during the game.
yes, the information was true. just because you do not like it does not make it false. bethesda actually has the worst reputations in the gaming industry for number of severe and critical bugs in their games, and a very very low fix ratio.
Simple, IGN - Will only give you a good review if you pay them for the review. So Trion obviously didn't pay for their review.
Most big review sites only give the good reviews to the companies which pay for the review.
So that coupled with a bumpy start....
That's like saying Mass Effect 2 deserves a 5 because it has no multiplayer, yet Mass Effect 3 deserves a 10 because it does.
I'm to lazy to read all of this..
but you're comparing two VERY different things.
Bioshock was flat-out ****ing amazing, from head-to-toe that game was awesome, and it's going to get some DLC, but I'm sure it wont be anything major.
Defiance, is amazing.. potentially.. it's an MMO that will be ever-growing.
Comparing the two makes no sense.
It's funny. People say Defiance is short on content. But Bioshock Infinite, as awesome as it is, is only a 10-15 hour game.
