Did this game REALLY TAKE 5 YEARS to make?!?! (Doubtful) Not trolling, just saying...

Hi,
I am new to this game just got it yesterday...but I watched the TV show...also..and from what I understand..if Defiance series is continued a second season then some of the Game stuff with some how be integrated....a players character or avatar ..and the game will have new content related to the second season TV series..
That is how I understand the concept..

that's correct but you wont be shown content from the game until about mid way through season 1. But for some people they dont like waiting, and nor do they give a F^ck about the actors playing the characters. they just want to see how they made a difference every episode

Give some credit where credit is due... What have you released lately? They are making history, what are you doing? Go the **** away and just contribute to all the other whine threads...

We should all be thanking GOD that this game is such a masterpiece, go to an arkfall, shoot a crystal, get stuff!!! Between this, Aliens Colonial Marines, World War Z, and the green turd floating in my toilet i don't know whos gonna get game of the year!!!! Seriously though the game is a solid 6, and not because it's an mmo that has bugs, even if there weren't any bugs there just ain't that much to do in the world that is fun and feels fresh.

Oh lookie what i found, its been how many weeks into the games launch and its still buggy as hell? Oh... the wait for a MMO to stop sucking after launch is quite simply amazing dont you agree? I mean after all, were looking a a game thats still damn well broken, buggy, and glitchy as ever!

You sir deserve a beer! Thats a good summary of what is to come of this game, one which many will look back and say "were not gonna do something stupid like this" when they come down the line of what to do and what not to do with multiplatform MMO's

If people don't like and/or are fed up with the game... Why don't they just leave the forums and sell the game? ._.

Considering some people cannot return a game because its broken.. say those who bought it via pre-order digital content, those folks are basically screwed period. That $120 i wasted on this game still isn't putting itself to good use. Actually thinking back now, i've spent more money on buying tons of minecraft licenses, server hosting equipment, and more time invested in learning the mechanics behind mc server hosting on multiple oses than i have with this game. And considering i bought this game in hopes i'd actually enjoy it, ive yet to continue playing it on ps3, or pc.

Its just that boring considering how bugarific it truly is. I mean dont get me wrong, im sure your all fine n dandy throwing a few hundred dollars down the ****ter but then again i suppose you dont expect much "bang for your buck" so to say.

I haven't taken a gamble in a long time.. and I somewhat did on Defiance... Plenty of videos around to show you exactly how the game play will be and what to expect...

ahahaha really a QQ thread... you haven't even given them time to allow connection between the game and the tv show, does anyone not know that pilots are filmed way before the production of the TV show..... They've probably bin sitting on that episode for 8 months before they get the green light to start filming, it takes alot of time and effort. so to cry over a episode that was proof of concept, which was always shown at E3 or Pax or any other event they attended? really?

I'm sorry that they can't give you what you want right this moment, since one the game can't reveal Global events before the tv show nor can the TV show exploit content unavailable to us gamers, and the tv show needs time to establish its characters before they can even mention the player base.

But i mean if those of you who are QQ'ing so hard over this matter, please pull all your money together and provide some more financial backing, since 2 weeks / and 1 episode is not enough for you.

Great point, sadly though the word "bang for your buck" still rings in my head... Quite frankly, many are still not getting "the best bang for their buck". sure its a one time fee, sure its taking time, but lets put it this way, im not gonna sit patiently wait a few years for all these bugs to be "resolved" over "time" because by then ill lose complete interest in the game, and most likely the servers will be shut down.
