Exactly as do i, i simply want them to actually communicate with there ps3 base I always see xbox, pc info but they dont post or communicate with there ps3 player base at all
the excuse that the game is an MMO is not a viable defence! the game has far too many problems even for an MMO the executive producer even has a post about it; how their enthusiasm got the better of them and their bringing back alpha test. you know why? cause the game was release before it was ready! i like the game too but stop being a blind fanboy! i don't even see how you can be for a game thats not even a month old and a developer with one recognizable game(rift)

There is no Blind Fanboy with what i said. It's just the truth, that's why it doesn't bother me at all cause I'm use to how MMO launches work. I've been through so many and trust me when i say this. Defiance is hardly a bad launch. Games like World of Warcraft or hell even with DC Universe online had way more problems from Launch that makes Defiance look almost perfect.
However, i can understand why you guy's would be pissed and i don't blame you. You guy's have every right to be upset, after all you did pay 60 or more bucks for this game. So you want it to be in stable playing state, in fact we all want that from this game. In due time we will see that happen but Every Single MMO out there always has a rocky start. Applying new client side updates not Title updates can easily break the game. Yet look at the update that just went live for Defiance two days ago for 360 and PC. Yet looked what happened. Single Player games depending on what game it is, can be a broken product right out the door. That to me is unacceptable. Yet With MMO's however, its a little more difficult to process through with since its an Massive Online Game with so many things and features that one little thing can easily form bugs, glitches or the game to be straight down unplayable. Yet the developers which in this case Trion has been pretty damn good with keeping us up to date about when things are being worked on or fixed. Now of course with the lack of news for the PS3 patch update, that's not there fault. They haven't received word yet from Sony when the title update is going to come out. I'm sure perhaps today we might get some feedback from Trion as to when it will become live for us. I want this update just as much as you guy's do but i rather see Trion take there time after what happen with the PC and 360 patch launch, and have them fix out the bugs then re-patch the PS3 version so that it makes it a smoother and more stable game for US to play.
Sure you guy's may say that MMO isn't an excuse as to when a Single Player game launches but you need to understand that with MMO's its alot more harder to maintain then what it is to easily fix up a bug or nasty glitch in a Single Player game like Bioshock or Call of Duty.
People ***** & ***** about a game they like & say they will leave because it sucks but if it's a FPS like CoD or BF they jump to defend it like no other but will bash this game.I'm pretty sure the OP has played either CoD:BO2 or BF3 since its launch date & was praising the game then & never complained about a patch when it was needed just as bad.Something just yells hypocrite.
Buncha complainers, I love the game... there are no bugs that make the game un-playable, and it's just gunna get better.
i must be really lucky besides double reloading and stutter stepping i havent had any freezes or guns go missing for me this is one of the smoothest mmo launches ive ever been a part of. hopefully sony will release the patch soon enuff and fix the few bugs ive encountered but ive still been playing everyday not always leveling my ego or being on long enough to do a mission(egos only 485 lol dont judge i dont see the need to grind hard yet) but i still plan on playing and waiting paitiently for the bugs to be fixed.
This launch is nothing compared to wow. Diablo, everquest or even some expansions to EVE like Inferno or even Incarna a few years back that had major issues in the beginning.
Btw, I an a ULTIMATE EDITION owner and no regrets whatsoever. Patience is a virtue. Also remember that code has a tendency to take a lifee of its own so to speak and fixing bugs, etc in a game this size is a long process.
Sony updates the store on tuesdays and thursday xbox and pc release of the patch was on the 16th if sony aproved it we would get it that following thursday if by chance not thursday it would sunday the lastest my friend in sony said that they have not denied the patch but its not seen in the near future for sony....
The fact of the matter is im done with all episode and side and main mission im a gamer a trophy hunter you have pursuits and daily reputation contracts but yet there glitched or locked out so know you to the main purpose of my mmo away so y play guess bf3 still rains the best, do appriciate the feed back good to see im not the only ps3 gamer pist off, oh and for the person that stated that they must of for got it first was launched for ps3 ya they dont give to ****s **** god of war pvp runs better than defiance
