Yeah, it is a lot of time for a forum post. Saves time answering all those questions and having people say, "Where's it say that? Dev's never said that."
So saying im sorry is just supposed to make it all better? I mean with all due respect, when the servers where down for 8hrs+ every day for the first 4 days of the game. Im sorry was acceptable. When the bugs and server crashes made the game unplayable for the next 4 days, again, im sorry was an acceptable response. But we are heading on 3 weeks later now, and still dealing with the SAME bugs, the SAME lag spikes, the SAME server crashes... the im sorry wears a bit thin.

And yes, they gave us a weeks worth of boosts, which I will say was nice, with the exception the game still doesnt work right so the boosts are kind of pointless dont you think?! What good is the extra drop rate when my weapons disappear anyway? What good is the skill and xp boost when the servers are constantly down!? Yes, this may be the best customer service responses for a company ever, but what does that matter if nothing is changing? What good is a boost if you cant use it? Its past the point of simple apologies anymore. Its time for major action or they need to start giving out refunds.

And when I say major action I mean bits! I dont want your boosts anymore, I want bits so I can buy my OWN boosts when and if you ever get this disaster working! Otherwise there is no reason to be here and everyone who wants it should get their money back.

I've stated many times, i've got a lot of free time until the 23rd, then I'm up to my eyes in way too many classes as I'm trying to finish out my degree quickly and get all my A+ Certifications.

If I wanna spend my free time sorting through a Developer's Q&A to help answer peoples questions, of which a lot of people have the same questions, then that's how I want to spend MY time.

I did my 12 years in the military of GOGOGOGO do what we tell you to no questions asked. Now I spend my time going to school for something I love, and spending my free time how I want.

As far as on the payroll? I wish. 30+ hours a week in class, plus another 10-20 working projects, essays and studying for tests, I wish I had time to be on at least a part time payroll. No jobs in this area. So, here I sit, reading through forums, reading through my new school books on network security and ethical hacking, while playing a new MMO, and catching up on some TV that I missed last term.
Ok, then. I see now that you have a lot of passion for this game.

And I honestly thought you were on the payroll. You post A Lot, and mostly about the DEVs comments of any fashion.
You are more involved with spreading Trion's messages to the defiance community than the PR person at Trion.

I'll be convinced when the major bugs that I've experienced are actually fixed.

Speaking frankly, I'm not really going to give praise to someone who admits they f'd up. If you mess up, you apologize, it's what normal people do. When I make a mistake, and apologize for it, I don't expect people to think it was some great sacrifice I had to endure.

Search for anything Square Enix has said about Final Fantasy XIV.

That's responsibility. I don't know any other game that even comes close to that.

Square Enix tripped you over but they apologized and helped you get up. Trion (just like the rest that say they're sorry) tripped you over, apologized but didn't help you up.

Square helped you get up? I wish I had that positive an experience with them.

You remember Hacker? All you got was a disk and when the game started all you got a DOS screen with the word LOGIN and that was all the help or instruction you got. The only way to proceed was to guess the password.

But I do miss the cloth maps that came in games like Ultima, Might and Magic and Wizardry. What I don't miss is having my house littered with dusty computer game boxes.

Final Fantasy, another game that most of us didnt play because it DIDNT WORK. And lets look, where is this game now? I know its not in any top10 list ive ever seen lately. In fact, until I heard everyone talking about it on here, I didnt even know there was a Final Fantasy MMO. I wonder why that is? Listening to how you all describe it, im quite glad I didnt waste my time and money there. And surprise, here is another game, years later, still having the same issues. If you cant make your product work, quite trying to get us to buy it!

Not because of gamestop's trade in policy but because Trion was smart enough to make a no refund policy before defrauding everyone.

And it is fraud, as I explained in an earlier post. I dont care if its an MMO, it is a non-functional, partially finished product and in any other medium in the USA that is punishable by law.
No, it is not fraud. Welcome to your 1st MMO launch. Maybe next time dont buy an MMO on day one and expect it to be bug free & have no server issues. Even non-MMOs have this problem (just look at Diablo 3 & Sim City).

I personally haven't liked Square since Final Fantasy X but I'll give them credit for taking responsibility with the mess that was Final Fantasy XIV.

You mean Final Fantasy 14? It isn't popular for many many reasons, not just because it didnt work right at launch. There is a reason they are pretty much remaking the entire game with different features, mechanics, and content.
