Although we all appreciate the 30 minute warning (followed by the 20, 15, 10 and 5 minute warnings) before you boot the players off and restart or fast-patch the servers...
...would it be too much trouble for you to act like the "Rift Server Restart Team" and also let us know *how long* the servers will be unavailable?!?

Common sense and doing simple things to keep the players happy are obviously not their goals here. As far as general communication on top of GM and Moderator support goes for Defiance it is ten steps back compared to how Rift was handled.
when they said the servers where going down in 30 minutes, they said they would be down for 30 minutes.
In what part of the glitchy and hardly visible piece of crap chat box was this stated? Let me guess it was a two line string that disappeared in seconds and was mentioned once?
