    Delete option in inventory

why not replace it with a quick salvage button? or at least adding a salvage button.

hmm now that i thought about it...the delete button is kinda obsolete due to the fact that we just sell them to the vendors or break them down intro resources for ark salvage...therefor the delete button serves no real purpose other than to just waste whatever you have.

We seriously need a Ctrl-click method to select several items at once to salvage and like you suggested replace delete with salvage button.

You can't salvage weapon mods. So, say you did a bunch of side missions and end up with a bunch of weapon mods you don't plan on ever using. Say you somehow have several weapons you really want to hang on to and now your inventory space is full and you suddenly come across a nice orange weapon. Without a delete option, you're forced to salvage one of your weapons you were hanging on to.

Granted, this is a pretty extreme case, but there IS a good reason to have a delete button. But, I agree that a quick salvage button would be a whole lot more useful as I can't remember actually deleting any item to date. Just put the delete somewhere a little less accessible, or make it an option in the salvage matrix for items that can't be salvaged.

Then Trion should make it contextual. When over a salvageable item, it defaults to Salvage. Over a non-salvageable item, it defaults to Delete. I'm not a coder, so I don't know if that kind of thing would be a pain in the *** to code, but it really would make inventory maintenance better.

Just make the command default to delete when over anything that falls into the item category of a mod. Not hard to do.

Well for arkfalls and completing side missions-main missions that when a player has no space the items go to the claim spot on the Defiance store. I would like to see all items go there no matter if a player has no space so that way I can just keep picking up stuff when doing random things then like a hr or 2 later hit a safe zone and deal with the items then.

Hell, I wish we could salvage more then 1 item at a time, let alone delete more then 1 item at a time.
