There is nothing official by season 2 yet. Have you got some official link regarding this? as far as i know they are waiting to see how the rating goes before they decide go for season 2.
Agreed Fatalmephisto, I personally know five people that left the game within the first week and after the first episode are now the hardest core player you will ever meet haha they are hooked and the show will do that to people, my younger brothers also got hooked after the show even though they weren't playing before then. The show will draw more people in and the game will just make it MORE fun, I don't think the game will draw people to the show though because the show is why most people play anyways.

Shows don't get renewed based on ratings of premier alone. They need very high ratings through out to green lit season 2.

That depends on the sales as there are no subscription fees that fuel and motivate development. A metascore of around 60 does not help with this, unfortunately.
I think the show is fine and has been received better than the game.
Do you have anything you can link that shows exactly what ratings and through how many shows it takes to green light a 2nd season?
