Best lock box fr legndaries?

What is the best lock box to purchase? Seems like none are decent.

ive bought a ton of tier 4s, gotten three. i bought one tier 2, and got a shield lol

Zero nothing Nada for orange weapons in any lockbox.

Every time I rack up 64 key codes, I buy a tier 4 lockbox. I have no idea how many I've bought, but I've got a couple of orange items out of them. It is, as they say, a crap shoot. You could get anything out of them, and mostly you're going to get shtako.

2 legendaries out of 11 T4. 1 legendary out of unknown number of T3... but more than 11.

So it would be safe to say that the tiers just affect the odd for rarity of it's contents?

I've only purchased 5 lockboxes (4 level 4, 1 level 2) so it's probably bad luck, but I've never gotten anything worth keeping. I just salvage everything. I've stopped bothering with them.

Someone said you have a 6% chance on Tier 3 and 8% chance on Tier 4 for orange. Let's assume Tier 2 has a 4% chance.

With 192 Keycodes you can get: (so division comes out in whole numbers)

24 Tier 2 = 48 tries at 4%
08 Tier 3 = 16 tries at 6%
03 Tier 4 = 06 tries at 8%

Anyone know percentage math to calculate your chance of getting 1 orange for each of the above??

It seems to me, it is better to go with Tier 2, but percentage math does not always follow what 'seems to be'...

I saw it broke down on a google spreadsheet somewhere. Te difference was pretty much 1% i think in favor of 3. But 2was the agreed upon logical choice. Did not know if there was any official word on it.
