Someone needs to be FIRED. -Kerry

Okay, so the title is a tad bit extreme, and the issue might not be the most pressing issue facing the Defiance team but it pisses me off to no end and it hasn't been brought up on the forums yet. For the most part I am extremely pleased with this game. I rarely find an issue to gripe about on the forums.

However there is an issue that I need to address.

In the clunky and unresponsive quick menu we find a few useful things such as matchmaking and our friend lists. This makes hopping into a game or meeting up with a friend easy, without a need to navigate menu's.

I support this feature 100% However....

    1. Who's bright idea was it to put the REMOVE FRIEND option in the quick menu?
    2. Why is this option sandwiched between the two most common options in that menu?
    3. Why on earth did you add the Defiance store to the quick menu without addressing this issue?

The way this menu is laid out it seems to me that it was intentional. Its like they somehow want to sabotage any attempt at an in game community.

Guess I better write every one of my friends names down on paper in the event that I accidentally remove them when trying to group or meet up.

    What a joke.

No one should be fired over this. And this is not even such a big of issue compared to stuff like people losing their weapons and progression

And you don't have to put your name in the title we know you are Kerry.

LOL that's your complaint? Tee-hee. Pretty sure their jobs are safe as it pertains to that issue.

Pay attention to what actions you choose prior to confirming them. It's clunky for a reason.

Fired is an exaggeration but you figure something like this would have been caught way early in testing. You don't even need to put the game into alpha or beta testing to see that this option in a quick menu is a bad idea.

Yes Kerry, Im sure they're all putting their lot into a hellbug hat being passed around the office. Perhaps you can go there today and they'll let you pick the lucky scapegoat out of the hat?

Really you need to go back and reread the other thread you made. It was stated by many people that if you think your not getting enough quotes or responces in general to either state....you love defiance!! better than any game ever!!! or .....Defiance sucks anyone who enjoys it is a moron. This thread is kinda .....meh

Is it that the menu system makes more sense for consoles? I'm not a console player so I'm asking seriously. I know for PC it's awful...but it is what it is. I've learned to just hit F8 for most of my friends list stuff, although accepting invites, I've come close to doing the friend drop myself.
