I can see you while you are cloaking. thanks for not changing direction b.c this grenade I throw at where you will be walking will blow up in your face. You will think I am hacking but I just merely took my intelligence and figured if he was running this way he must still be and 10/10 times you are. I like to turn my camera backwards as I run watch you come around the corner thinking I don't see you then you pop stealth... Lol. Just played a game where a guy was killing every cloaked player on my team, running up to us as we try to get around him and instakilling us with an assault rifle. Yes, an assault rifle. Not a shotgun, not a rocket launcher.
Yeah PvP is certainly fun now.
Ban these turds please.
Banning individual cheaters is really time-consuming, and ultimately pointless, as they will establish a new account/character anyway. They always appear like vultures in MMO games, and in co-op games as well.
The PVP in this game is a sad shambles anyway. I agree with some posters who have suggested that all EGO and perks be disabled for PvP matches. That makes a lot of sense to me. Let experience and skill do the work, not weird powers.
However, I do agree that Trion needs to get a handle on these cheaters somehow, as they are also ruining Arkfalls with their hacked weapons and shields.
And for God's sake, can we have a 'no-vehicles' radius around all Arkfalls? I especially dislike the folks that insist on running around all Arkfalls in the huge transporter truck, pushing creatures around and blocking your view of the enemies.
Since I'm on a mini-rant here, I will mention with complete disdain those evil people who will part their vehicle next to the chrystal and the REMAIN IN THE VEHICLE! That's just plain perverted in my book.
If you can't provide a 'no-vehicle' zone, then allow the players to shoot any vehicles in the Arkfall vicinity.

Cheaters don't make cloaking useless. They make the entire PvP match useless.
I am assuming this is for PC servers. (that's the main reason I don't play on PC servers)
Yep I knew by looking at this game is was for consoles and realized the company when it comes to hackers. PS3 yum.
Cloak doesn't actually make you invisible, only harder to see, and you still show up on radar. So follow the red dot, look for blurry patch, fire with shotgun with DoT damage (which keeps cloak from reapplying).. cloak rendered useless. Its why I prefer Blur in PVP myself.
You do realize that having everything server-side means an increase in lag, and doesn't prevent hacking right?
Manipulating packets being sent across the internet isn't all that complicated if you know what you're doing.
I thought something was off. *******s running around with BMG's instagibbing everyone in a few shots, and even cloaking and running wasn't doing it for me. I just thought he was good when he was taking us out 2v1, but when he took out our entire team, which had 4 cloak users on it... No way can you kill so many people, 4 of which you can't even see, without even ****ing reloading.
Well we thought something was getting fishy.
Trion needs to start ban waves and get rid of these *******s. It's not like Defiance is a cheap game. Once banned what is the likelihood of them buying and coming back again?
