Starting a new story

I have finished the single player campaign now. I'm just wondering if I start the story again. Does this reset any stats or ego rank/ powers I have unlocked?

If you make a new character, yes. If you just choose to replay the story. No xD

its an mmo, how exactly is there an ending? It's going to be adding content all year with the tv episodes

Thanks for the reply just hit 1000 ego and would hate to loose anything. The ark falls on there own just arnt cutting now.

Story missions are not the same as *Episode missions.

Just to clarify a few things cos I was unsure before I did it:

You keep your EGO rank
Pursuits/Contracts do not reset
You keep all weapons & vehicles
On second play through, side missions aren't there (may be if you didn't do them all, but I did so don't know)
You can still get to San Fran using Fast Travel

The game is pretty much the same as when you haven't replayed the storyline apart from you now get a random weapon at the end of missions instead of a set one.
