dissapearing weapons still not fixed

third time now my default weapon in my inventory has dissapearred. this time it was when i was still playing the game. transitioning from the world map to a multiplayer map. it just froze and had to reset the ps3. upon logging back in my bmg dissapeared. this is beyond a gamebreaking bug, i cant play the stupid game if i have no freaking weapons. this is a joke that it is still persisting. very unimpressed. I want to like this game, I really do, but weapons dissapearing? I refuse to turn a blind eye to that. If this isn't fixed soon I'm trading this back in and swearing off the game

I get your frustration, completely. I haven't experienced this myself but I know its a huge problem. Have you submitted a ticket on this yet? If not, please do, and give them as much information about what, when, where etc as you possibly can. I believe they are working hard to resolve as serious an issue as this is, but we have to do our part too and give them the info they need to get it done.

I'm really sorry you're having so many issues and I do hope you can try to be patient a little longer while they work the kinks out. Good luck

Just wanted to bump this up and call more attention to it. Another weapon of mine disappeared today. Strangely, this time it also locked up my equipment screen and I couldn't put a different weapon in the slot, or even change loadouts until I finagled it some.

I have lost 2 blue guns and one purple to this bug. When your loadout gets locked up and you can't switch it or equip a new primary weapon, you have to kill stuff until a weapon drops, then quick-equip the dropped weapon. It won't bring your deleted guns back, but it will free up your loadouts. Sometimes it fixes itself, but the past two times, I've had to use this trick.

I've had the same happen to me beef keg and I have been unable to replicate the issue, I've submitted a ticket or two about it and still waiting to hear back. In the Loadout screen I couldn't do anything at all and the primary weapon was blank with a different weapon in the secondary(ruling out a weapon glitch) I couldn't even switch between load outs,but what was strange was that In game I had a LMG equipped with no secondary to switch to. The only workaround I could find was to go to the inventory section of the character menu and swap out whichever the only weapon displayed was.. In my case a telespanner equipped in the secondary slot, as soon as I did this I could use the Loadout screen again... It's madness.
One thing I must add is a big thanks to primarch and the other GMs for the help with my other problems and the level of support I have received... Thanks again. Daz

I lost my purple detonator and still haven't had any help with it. This game should not have been released with so many problems. I've beta tested many games that didn't have as many issues.

I thought this was just me.

Last night (playing till the wee hours), I wanted to add a mod slot to my new blue assault rifle. So I went to the Salvage Matrix to add a mod slot. This is my main wep I use, so got tired and went to bed...

Started the game in the morning, knowing I can now add a new mod to assault rifle, but the assault rifle not there?!?! Thinking, well it was late, "maybe" I selected to breakdown the weapon by mistake...

So bought a brand new rifle, modded 3 out of 4 slots and all good. Went to add my last mod slot, watched the 10min. count down ticker going. Once completed, when to see it in my inventory and, you guessed it...GONE!

So that's all the scrip from upgrading 2 assaults with mods and upgrades, plus the cost of a brand new one and now I'm S.O.L...

I love this game, and never one to complain, but come on, help a guy out.

I have submitted a ticket in-game, and trying not to be glass half empty here, doubt I'm going to get anything back.

So is this happening to all weapon types? Not sure...my combat shotgun was able to fully upgrade. Are there just specific weapons or type of weapons?

I had this same issue with my orange bmg. Put it in the matrix last night before logging off to add a 3rd mod slot. Logged in today and it was gone. It being my only orange gear, i'm sure i was careful and did not salvage it for parts.
I did an in-game bug report as well.

Ouch! To an orange wep... I feel your pain. I really hope they can fix that for you. It's one thing to happen to a blue or even a purple..but orange legendary. That's as about as bad it gets.

I share your pain buddy,I've lost 2 orange and 3 blue I forget the names but it's happening to random weapons and more importantly at random times, the Loadout lockup is new for me though.. The only thing likely to be in common is doing something such as an upgrade, buying, entering an instance such as a co op map etc so it seems like some kind of server load issue or hiccup so instead of registering with ther server that you are doing something with the weapon, it loses that part of the data transfer and deletes the weapon or possibly something along those lines. It is highly frustrating but it comforting to know we are getting a lot of support and they will sort us out one way or another just be patient buddy. Even in the testing phase where a lot of problems come from server load how do you test for that? Pack a few hundred thousand people in a room lol

Lastly just to post a work around again for anyone who's Loadout screen locks and you can't do anything at All not even change to a different Loadout by pressing Y, in some cases you may have a weapon missing from either primary or secondary either way try this... Press either RB or LB (if on Xbox) to navigate to the inventory screen and select a different weapon than would be equipped in the slots and go to equip the missing weapon first (if that's the case) then the glitched weapon slot, it might take a couple of tries selecting it but it should work as it has for me as this problem is happening quite often for me now with random weapons I equip so it's not like one weapon is glitched... My character must have stepped in the wrong kind of shtako and caught something from it...... Glitchedweaponitus..... Or even weaponous goneous..... Hopefully the devs can issue me with some Antibiotics at least hehehe
