I had to laugh that the OP even started this thread. NIM is NOT easy. took me over a month to get him down and since replaying the missions makes you lose progress I wont be replaying the missions because I don't want to be stuck on him again when new episode missions come out.

Nim is fine the way he is.No need to buff him up or tone him down.I beat him easily but doesn't mean he should be buffed.DCUO solo missions weren't hard.If it's easy then be glad they didn't make it a rigged AI.Have you played a fighting game against a cpu player on the a higher difficulty than the highest difficulty? That is full on BS.

Honestly Nim is not hard at all and I was honestly hoping that he would be harder...

I died twice I think. But I considered it too easy. Not just Nim though, the whole story. Was kind of gutted. The length was fine, but could have been a bit more challenging.
Only advice I can give...there are ammo caches in the mission area...hide behind pillars...when he does his jumpy smashy groundy thing, jump over the waves that come from him as he lands.

I found nim to be a difficult fight at least for my play style. Tool me around an hour and a half to beat him but I did it. I do not think he should be nerfed in any way shape or form. In my opinion any boss fight is just a matter of learning and adapting and changing. If you die 15 times in a row to the same boss then you need to change your tactics.

I am a firm believer in the player adapts to suit the game not the other way around. When a game adapts to suit a player then it's just easy mode. Another point to consider is that the vast majority of today's games are design to be beaten with little to no effort, at least that's the way I see it. Defiance as a whole I'd a relative easy game to beat but fun as hell to play. Out of all the games I have played dating back to MUDs in the early 80's, ultima online, DAOC all the way up to WOW (through wrath) and everything in between, this game was certainly one of the easiest but one of the more enjoyable ones.

You need to stop. If you haven't caught any by now, you really should stop. Just saying
"Look my friend, there are 3 kinds of people in this world, those who can count and those who can't, any questions?

I finally decided to do the last mission today... he was so easy... Aside from me killing myself twice with the Northstar Flare, all I had to do was watch his patterns and dodge roll... Fighting Nim was like fighting a robot master from any Megaman...

Sure we can, but why would I want to? If I wanted to use a console controller, I'd be playing on a console. I hate console controllers, therefore never play console games.
