On a more serious note, im trying to "EGO up" but most pursuits dont interest me, leveling up on the other hand does so i could have more 'builds' to choose from when need be. Also there seems to be minor gear improvement as ive leveled up, ~800 EGO atm and feeling stuck.
The sad part is the effect of most of those perks are really minor. Other then a sniper build I mess with I have one perk set up I use for everything.
