Down again?

Happens to me as well, I got DC around 4 times last night, just by random.

"Defiance servers are down bla bla bla"

then I was able to log right back in..after missing out on the arkfall I had been doing for 20 min....

I havent been able to log back in, well i can, but i get disconnected within seconds.

I, along with many others, play quite frequently, and outside of downtime for a restart/maintenance, I've only gotten disconnected once or twice in the past week.

You either have horrific timing, are grossly exaggerating your time deficit, or the problem isn't Trion and instead lies somewhere in between.

I havent been able to play in 4 days, get over it. Supposedly before it was server maintanence and i had bad timing, Now its 3 hours later than usual on my day off and im being disconnected still. This is Trion, not me.

And now whenever I sign back in Im on the same mission server and its crashing again. It's the stupid mission right after the EGO tutorial. Because I had to reroll because im locked out of my main character. But that must be my fault too. People here are ignorant.

Well while it entirely possible all the people there with you are ignorant, I'd like to believe they aren't.

Wait a bit and see if other PC users are having similar problems for the past 4 days. If so, you may be right. If not, I'd consider looking closer to home for the problem. Might be something as simple as your firewall not liking Defiance and needing some work.

I played for hours on end before the patch without a single issue. The day of the huge patch everything has been trashed, and i dont remmeber the exact day, but i believe it was patch day i was locked out of my main, server wont even load with him, but if i reroll i can actually load the game up. This isnt me, yet again. It worked just fine before.

Well since you say it started on patch day, were there any hiccups or abnormalities when you were downloading the patch? Any disconnects during the download? Do you have the alpha/beta still installed? Any 3rd party programs that might affect the game?

Have you tried contacting the support live chat? It seems to get better results at the current time.

Just trying to help since you do SEEM to want to play the game.

Last live chat i attempted told me the URL was unavailable or some ****. ANd both of my support tickets have so far been ignored. It updated straight through, no issues as far as I could see, i never had alpha or beta. My internet is extremely stable, goes down once every few months at most.

I love how my internet somehow makes Defiance stop working after it patched, where I can play for around 10-20 minutes before disconnect, last few times within seconds. Good try.

Possibility your patch got corrupted in someway and that area you are trying to load isn't loading. This is actually just a assumption mind you. How about providing a screenshot of what it says when you get kicked? Does it say. "Disconnected" Or does the game outright freeze/crash?

It's the server disconnect, everybody has seen it. It happens anywhere. Tutorial missions, random arkfalls, whatever. Ive had zero consistencies with it, its seemingly random.

Then when I try to reconnect it either A) just wont let me, or B) lets me on a little before it happens again.
