Achievement Unlocked! EGO Rating 5000!

Well around 2000 I also had around 70 pursuits done, if you want perspective on that. Some actually require a lot of time and effort to complete. I imagine by the time I finished off all weapons I could possibly be around 4000 if I am being generous.

I think a lot of you are missing the point here, You DO NOT need to do any pursuits what so ever and you never need to finish the story line. 5000 ego is very reachable when you play with max boosts and grind like a champ, sure there are bug exploiters and what not but it is very viable to for example do Mine 99 all day every day and hit 5k Ego without doing anything else in the game.

I am 2k plus Ego been playing 4 days and a bit and actually don't really play that much each day, If you like a game for it's grind and there are plenty of people that do then this game holds no challenge. With full boosts you can earn almost 8k xp in under a minute at Mine 99 with a friend now thats the equivilant to a couple of unboosted full major arkfalls which would take mmm lets say 20 mins at best for both? anyway when you do the math you can ego cap no problem if that is your goal in the game.

Hi,

I have played the game through once and my EGO rating was only 195.
I am now half-way through playing the game for a second time and at my EGO is only at 149.

NOTE: The second time of playing I have completed most of the side missions except the driving and targeting SMs because my default buggy has pants handling on the open road.

WTF can I do to boost my EGO rating???

The highest exp boost is 22%. Buying more of the same only stacks time.

Also not confused on how you can grind the same mission over and over again for EXP, but realistically at least to me I don't think anyone has reached 5000 yet, legit. We keep bringing up pursuits because they give the biggest boost to ego. I finished just about everything in the game that works or could be done in the time available and im only at 3000, with the exception of weapon skills and that leaves 2000 levels of mindless grind that Im not sure anyone has the patience for.

You underestimate peoples will to grind, Personally I am halfway done with my weapons.

I like to grind as well and Im also half way done with my weapons, I'm just saying that I dont think 5000 was at all possible when this post was made.

Hit 3k but I just...can't do it any more. It's boring the hell out of me, the thought of grinding more makes me ill. I really can't imagine how a whole bunch went to 5k, yeesh yer nuts.

Oh well, free boosts are now gone so I guess I shall go play other games instead.

Do any developers play on the Xbox or PS3, or do they all play on the PC?

We are talking about mine 99 as in the outdoors mission not the co-op dungeons, and yes its very much a grind, If however you belive there arnt players out there willing to devote 10+ hours a day to grind this you'd be incorrect, Id go so far as to say eq grew a whole generation of grinders.

Many of which actually enjoy the grind.


However based on these reactions, I can see why no one is coming forward as being close to 5k.

I have been grinding this spot daily now and if I were to do it for the full time I am online each day then it's an easy 300 levels a day.
