Some people like mini bosses I won't name here to level their weapons, personally I chose co-ops and an undisclosed farming location (it's actually a farm) with endless supply of raiders.
Sniper Hotshot ... 100 revives is easy if you get a friend to suicide ... well 100 times.
There are other pursuits however that take longer than that.
Very true and you cannot speed it up, which I like. Time will finish those all by itself and the title of the thread says "cutting it close to 5000" not "at 5000". This is probably one of the reasons with ...

But there are some pursuits that are not broken by themselves, but impossible to finish because the content you need is currently unavailable.
Dam Defense is one that everyone serious about pursuits has finished in the time where it was available I'd assume, but I doubt anyone has done all of the PvP pursuits at this point ... ;>
People attempting to rush games to completion are usually not the loners many think them to be. I didn't do it with Defiance, because my friends didn't want to get away from RPG gaming, but rushing through content is a lot more efficient if done as a team effort.
Explosions 101. Either take 3 friends or piss off 3 strangers by driving circles endlessly with that thing instead of completing the instance. Only place where you can access a Cerberus without a time limit.
You assume too much. Most of the rushers in other games cut it close to exploiting, yes. But do you think Trion would support them with a thread like this if they would be hackers? No ... hacking is a phenomenon that comes from the FPS part of the community, not the MMORPG hardcore.

People that have played with me knows that i don't cheat, but I'm a very efficient player.
But i guess is easier to call people cheaters or hackers when you can't figure out a efficient way to level up.
The same way that everyone can play basketball but not everyone can play in the NBA, everyone can play a game but not everyone can be a Pro-Gamer (and careful, I'm not saying I am one) but there are a few in this game.
Those are the ones that can get to, or be already at Ego Level 5000.
And saying that because they are close to it, they HAD to use hacks or exploits or have no life, that is just cheap.
Why you don't admit that you may not be as good as other players.
Also, you do know that a lot of people played the alpha of this game, in my case since I started playing it until the game release,
I got characters wipes 5 times(that's when the devs want you to start testing things from the beginning again, and erase all the toons to force you to do it) so after doing the same quests 5 times or more you have a little of advantage to the person that pick the game for the first time on launch day.
I think after the 3rd character wipe I could get back to level 900-1000 on a weekend not even a full week.
So as a final note for everyone around or at level 5000, Congratulations you guys are Pro-Gamers!!!

You can say this because you still have content to do, its different with no content. No one is arguing that it can't be done, we are saying that it probably hasn't been done.
There is at least one player claiming to have hit EGO 5,000 already: http://forums.defiance.com/showthrea...l=1#post487415. Unfortunately that player cannot prove it as they deleted that character.
What some of you don't understand is this is not wow or ffxi. Can get from 1 to 90 in 2 weeks on wow. And 1 to 99 in 2 days. This game takes time. Specially with all the bugs that never get fixed. Maybe 2 months dev will fix it. Or someone might blow up there car or something. At this time I done see having 5k possible. If I'm. Wrong show me a pic of Xbox or PS3 5k ego. And I'm about 100% sure there are aim bots out already. Go play ithni on Xbox. Plus you dump 15 combat shotgun rounds into ithni and they lose 10% shield. One shot your dead. But congress to who ever get 5k ego. Most of us will have moved on by then. Since bugs will never be fixed.
