Thats hillarious, being ego capped due to trions inability to fix pvp pursuits :P

I don't think hilarious is the word I would use, especially as they stated that 5,000 was the cap at release. What do they call lying about release information again? Much of Defiance qualifies as this.

EDIT: To be fair, Trion did claim that you would be able to select your regional server without exception for months before release, and then finally noted that the console versions were region locked ~75 hours before release. False advertising much?

You're complaining about a guy who did under 2 million damage? I've walked away from Arkfalls with 3 million, multiple times. What boosts do you think you're buying that increase your damage output? Seems to me the reason you're such a low ego is because you spend most of your time crying about other people. You think they're worried about taking some screenshot to complain about someone's leet hacking skills or you think they might be grinding the whole time you wipe the sand out of your lady parts?

Honestly, just by my post count here you'd think I don't go around "complaining" on every thread like you suggest. Besides did I even mention hacking? No.
As to the boosts, that shows you how little I pay attention or even care about them, I have them only because they came with one of the versions of the game I bought.

I'm not in the game to grind away like some, all I want to do is enjoy it.

Regardless, to sum it up, I've NEVER paid attention to final scores of the Arkfalls UNTIL I came across this thread, all I did was notice someone who was not in there the entire "series" for that particular instance more than double my damage points. I said I thought I did rather well, I had no idea that it is so commonplace for so many to score so high.

Quite frankly, I'm impressed, and honestly a bit jealous, I'd like to know what I'm not doing (or doing wrong) and what all of you ARE doing to get such high points in this so I can improve my game.

it makes no difference what platform you use the server is the same so even if the devs play on pc you'll still run into them in game if they are logged in nearby regardless of your platform

Like I said before and I will stand by it firmly and if ya don't like it that's okay. I truly believe there is no "Legit" way to achieve 5000 ego or 4800 ego.
I have seen comments like, "Just admit he's a better gamer than you". That's pathetic to say. Of course there are better gamers out there and yes maybe this gamer in particular is a better gamer. But when a gun you get at level 2000 is not much better than the gun you get at lv one it gets rather slow going. so being a better gamer really doesn't have anything to do with it.
I also seen, "I can achieve a few hundred ego levels in a day". Dang!!!! So can I (Asssuming I'm the better gamer )when you first start. The ego level goes up like crazy when you have all those pursuits to do.
I don't think this has anything do with who is better. Its all about things to complete and time.
I'm at 2200 and there is nothing to do without being repetitive and being bored sick.
I think it "may" be possible if you play 24 hours a day and there are things to complete. But playing that long is just impossible as well and I think I would much rather get a good sleep, spend time with my kids and wife, etc And there is NOTHING more to complete.

The biggest question is , "Was it done legit?" I think not. I guarantee his pursuits were reset so he could get there or he exploited the game is some way or form.

I almost forgot. I am on my second playthrough of main mission (Same xp earned) Plus have about 90 pursuits completed (Only a couple hundred ego left anyway) and I am at 2200.

We have a handful of community members coming up on 5,000 EGO Rating. This is no small feat within the world of Defiance. Myself along with the Defiance development team want to be the first to congratulate each of you who have reached this mark.

I don't understand. I have done everything " mostly ". All the story all the sides 100+ persutes. And I'm 1900 ego. You have to grind the same dungeons over and over and do the same ark falls over and over to bit 5000 ego. I love the game, truly do... Buy I think I'd rather shoot myself than to through that awfully boring grind.

Yah they need more goal type games like grab save someone out of the caves or reach end and may be drive out fast as you can with out dyeing solo type game meaning if npc in car and you die you have to go back and get npc something fun


You know I wouldn't mine a killing race meaning rush in get a data recorder killing things in my way and rushing back out and see how I fast I did it even if some parts required driving hey maybe they can have time goals in main story quest.. That be fun..

Vehicles already have mass when in contact with enemy players. Not a far stretch to add pvp racing. Or Cerberus racing that would be more like death race. Just add some racing music and I could race people all day.

Its pvp that gets you all the exp fast, but what about us PVE players i personality hate PVP in console why do you think i quit playing Black ops 2 for this game, cause of the co op and instances, but we need more exp gain in instances ad more maps!!

So now what? These guys probable have most if not all pursuits, missions, challenges done. So now it's just doing contracts and running back and forth between the same repetitive arkfalls. Really looking forward to end game content.... Oh wait, I've practically been doing end game content since I finished the story line, at 500 ego...
