New Alien Race Discussion

First off as I have just reread what my genius brain has decided to put as the title of this post let me start by saying I do not know any new information about the Who, What, When, Where, or Why of this new race. Only purpose of this post is for a discussion of what it could be, What you want it to be, why you want it to be, Ect Ect Ect. Now I do apologize if me posting this offends any of those people who are sticklers about reposting topics. But I don't really mean it, Its more of a politically correct Im sorry then an actual heart felt one. But hey, at least its something.

Now, me personally I would love to see the sensoths as a playable race seeing how ( this is my opinion and in no way a fact based statement, unless you count my word as high as I do ) there is no real "power" race to play as at the moment. And also after *SPOILER ALERT TV SHOW* the first episode of the show I would also be content with the voluge ( correct spelling or not? ) seeing as how lore wise it would be simple enough to slide them in as a Ark Hunter.

I'd bet good money on it being Castithan though I wouldn't mind Volge either. My heart is set on Indogene however because the doctor from the TV show had me at "Good human."

... What? I don't think you're familiar with the lore at all if this is what you think. The Volge were intentionally left behind when the arks left because of their incredibly aggressive and warmongering tendencies. Everyone was shocked when they made an appearance in the pale wars, and those that didn't die during went into hiding. Until the pilot episode, nobody had heard of them since. It would make very, very little sense for them to just suddenly start showing up, especially in the (relatively) non-threatening role of ark hunters.

I can't supply a link, currently on my phone. But I believe it might have been in the patch notes on the forums, or a thread posted by sledge.

No I kept that in mind, Excuse me for not explaining my opinion, throughout history there have been numerous examples of people that come from a Aggressive/Warmongering culture spreading out into, lets call it, more profitable ventures. The most known of which being the Scandinavian Viking culture, near the end of the reign of a lot of the bigger "tribes" a lot of Vikings left the main land in search of profitable ventures, which in most cases ended up being Fighting for sport, some cases Bounty hunting. That being said, it is also more conceivable this could happen considering most of them were left behind, and the fact that the pale wars is over. There are not many more profitable ventures in the world of defiance then ark hunting, and we all know with the possibility of great money comes the people with the "low enough morals" to take advantage of such an opportunity. So, if we look at it that way then is it not conceivable that a basically dying warmongering race would not have at least a few members willing to take their aggressive nature to something more profitable?
