BMG Leveling

Not sure if this will apply well to BMGs but works wonders for other weapons when I'm levelling them, by getting to the hulker in san quentin when you're both boxed in after disabling the generators its just you and him and you can damage him easily and he'll occasionally drop down with his head exposed and take extreme damage if you hit his brain, levels weapons up insanely fast. I do that a couple of times then kill myself and just respawn literally next to him and repeat the process, without going overboard and killing him ofc. But I've heard BMGs are a true pain in the *** to level.

Bring a ton of scrip for extracts, multiple weapons you want to level etc.

Yeah Ive literally killed EVERYTHING you can run into with them and so far just the Hulker and Monarch are about the only things that make a dent in the bar. I think they need to do more damage personally, I have AR, LMG, Combat shotguns and BMGs all at 6 however despite the BMG doing 462 damage compared to my LMGs 404 Im lucky if my BMG crits 250. Also they seem to be alot harder to level in comparision to the other weapons, but they seem to work well with the Infectors thou Im still playing with setups.

San Quentin is repeatable after doing it in the main story my friend and I go there alot because we can restart it right when we get out of the area as well as getting some decent hauls.

Yeah BMG is terrible for leveling apparently, but the main focus of the hulker is the damage he takes when his brain is exposed, best thing I do is use perks which amplify damage, Hunters Stance etc, even the Kill or be killed perk is great because it boosts crit damage by 45% and when you get to the point of farming the hulker every time you kill yourself and respawn, the first time you hit him he'll instantly drop to his knees and expose his brain so I grenade myself so my shield goes off then I get the crit bonus, shoot once let him drop down and then unload on him whilst crouched with overcharge and destroy him, levels up pretty fast :P

Ive been thinking about trying out overcharge with it but Im not sure how much of a diference it will make as most of the damage is between 6 and 50, so idk. Also a level 978 Tele-spanner with BMGs at 6 I can do 46 dmg a second to the hulker so just keep moving till he rages then just stand on a box and shoot him. He can only hit you with the bombs he throws up there so you can do alot of damage to him without being hit.

Just a heads up, Another good enemy for possibly levelling BMG's and other weapons are the Scrapper Forges. I find that they have a large amount of health and are easy enough to fight.

Gonna try that one I know you can find them at Bernal tower in san fran, you have decent cover there too. MUST DISASSEMBLE!

I have been using Forges to level up my weapons, I find it much easier than Hulkers personally. When you hit the eye critical the damage you do is insane.
