Pretty much how the media works. Focus on places that you can see as potentially being where you are so it is more interesting to you personally. And since America is a country like england in ways goings on there seem to have more appeal to our media over other places in the world.

May I just point out that I am English myself. Also the fact is that you will find many people in England these days see america as our closest ally in the world therefore the goings on of their country are of more importance to us. Or so it would seem for most people.

I am an american and I can definitely say we make to much of a deal about nothing. I was just saying to my father that for a terrorist act 3 isn't that much and i'd get every american going crazy if I said that in public. I live in massachusetts and it struck me as crazy when I heard it but I should know better than to make a huge deal over something that happens everywhere in the world. America needs to stop hiding in the corner and pretending to be the world police. We're in crazy debt thanks to reagan and only now do people see that carter wasn't a joke. Truthfully it's just another act of terror and to fight terrorism is like fighting an emotion. All it takes is one brainwashed psycho to change the schedule of others or even end it and it becomes the only thing people talk about. I hate the news here in america because it's mostly idiocy until they talk about world news and then something of interest starts.

No, I disagree. I do not relate to this event in anyway shape or form. In truth I'm borderline supporting it BUT loss of life and injury to innocents is a tragedy no matter where you are because I'm human.

I'm pretty close to where you are. I "suppose" America would be our strongest ally but that doesnt mean I have t like it. I rather pick Japan or isreal or Germany or sweden. the london bombings would never had happened if we hadnt helped usa in their phony war. Unles sthere is some HUGE relief or exports we are getting from america I honestly don't think they as allies have helped us in anyway other than to make the rest of the world think we are USA 2.

Oh no don't get me wrong it was entertaining. It doesnt affect us as a country though. The only thing coming from this would be negative if Cameron opens his fat tory toff mouth and starts spouting **** about supporting america against terrorism and being their closest ally. Best thing we can do as a country is ignore this event happened and leave it to USA to sort out. It's none of our business and we dont have the resources or security to defend ourselves form similar attacks and acts of terrorism

I understand what you mean. But there is nothing that we can really do about how things have come to be these days and sadly whether we like it or not doesn't matter. All we can do is watch as the world does as it pleases. Unfortunately I still think our country feels bad about controlling most of the world

Truthfully our congress is broken right now. They will not agree to anything and even if obama lost and that flipflopper romney won we'd still be doing exactly everything we're doing now. The president has no real power other than control of the military. Probably why most funding is pointlessly drowning in military and not useful areas like schooling where we can't even use commas correctly. Congress in america is just stuck in I disagree and stalemate. We need to get rid of the old and in with the new. I bet half don't even know how to use a computer.

I think America has the problem of still being an infant country. It is one of the youngest countries yet one of the biggest and just isn't sure how to make things work properly yet.
