At least we feel sorry. I was dismayed at the celebrations after Osama bin Laden was killed. A elderly man was shot in the face in his home infront of his wife and children and the people celebrated. It was grotesque. Burning effigies in the streets... you could put those "Parties" next to any anti-american flag burning or protest from a middle eastern country and they are like-for-like. Just shows me regardless of how civilized government is the "people" are exactly the same. USA is just a bunch of radicalised extremists with a differing opinion. Problem is these events should humble them and instead they just blame CRAZY RELIGIONS... or people when it is entirely their own societies fault

I must point out that all countries are as bad as each other for this. It is just how society is it would seem. An example of this recently in England is the death of Thatcher. I don't think people realise death should not be celebrated no matter whose it is.

Being left wing I fully agree still!. It's disgusting but... freedom of speech and all that. I don't mind that people say or do these things I mind that there isnt an equal and opposite opinion allowed to be even suggested. I think if I was in USA right now I'd have been shot or arrested.

Only wealthy southerners who are extremely right wing actually supported and still do support Thatherism. The entire point of a politician at that level is to be a PR stunt to be seen and liked, the president or prime minister. In that respect I find that Thather was an INCREDIBLY BAD politician which is why she was "impeached" by her own party. Cameron is neither here nor there, a complete wet blanket of a man so spineless and faceless that it should be EASY for left wing to finally get back in next election if the Labour party didn't have an equally wet and spineless spokes person right now. I miss Tony...

Ugh. We are way off topic but I think if you want a king and queen government the people should not allow the kids to take reign over that power as they never earned that power. They were born into it and that makes them worth less than a piece of dirt. They should get a paycheck and say begone with you and let the next person earn the power. Though obviously most are turning tword equal share which ends up being a stalemate. It's just a pain right now. Terrorism has been around yearly and I hate to be in a country that only just discovered it in my junior year of high school.

Even more pissed the servers are going down in 15 min and if anyone says trion doesn't listen to the people they should freaking play the game for once and see they changed the maint countdown to ridiculously huge unreal tournament letters .

No. It's just a plain obvious idea from historical knowledge that the kids are idiots and are trained to pretend to know something but they never actually did anything without their parent truly ruling. It goes for any country that has stayed with lineage rule.\

I have nothing against the UK nations or England and I could care less of our history. I just wish the americans who want to be called african american would stop caring of the color of the skin and remember slavery ended a long time ago and the racists get their butts kicked by every color of the skin that can't stand it :P. England at least doesn't have to worry about that from what I understand. Personally, if anything was to be hated it was the government at the time and we are basically sick of ours right now so we're in the same boat you were. If you still hate it I guess I need to do research worldwide but man it's a lot of work to know everything everyone is doing and have a life.

Are you refering to a "Monarchy"? They are tourist attractions. The royal family haven't had a say in politics for many many decades. They do not affect our choices in government and do not create laws or make international or national decisions on any scale. We are a democracy almost identical to the USA

We have a ""congress and a ""constitution and "parties". Its pretty much a 2 party system between Tory "republican" and Labour "democrat"

Or government right now is a right wing one. Boasting austerity measures and welfare cuts with trickle down economics touted. We had been left wing for over 16 years until the war. Much the same as you had been republican until last election.

Last time we had right wing in power we had a war and riots in the streets and massive unemployment. The current government is practically taking us back to 1986.

All this has proven to me is that the greater voting population don't care about policies or parties. They just vote for the smiling face that promises change. Everyone but the ultra rich are worse off now than before we elected to change our party because the public were ignorant of the right wing policies. I really hoped after Obama was voted in that we would finally see some coming together and progress but since your government switched so did ours so again we are at odds on healthcare and welfare and taxes and military budget. I hope Democrats get another 4 years and that we, after all thats happened these past 3 years NEVER EVER put in a right wing party ever again. Then we 2 countries can FINALLY start working together

I would just like to say that I served in the US Army for 3 1/2 years and I had very negative viewpoints(and still have) on Bush's "war on terrorism"(more like a war for oil)mainly the war in Iraq specifically. I couldn't express my viewpoints because I was afraid that my superiors would see me as a conscientious objector, and I would face court martial. When I was deployed to Afghanistan for nearly a year(was supposed to be a six month deployment, but they extended it to 9 months)I could tell that in some people's eyes we were not welcome over there. I could see it on the faces of the people we were supposed to be helping. I joined the Army to live up to my grandfather's name who was a Colonel in the US Army and had fought in World War II and the Korean War. When I was in the Army, I quickly saw that this was not the same Army that my grandfather had served in. The NCOs cared more about their own paycheck and getting a promotion to the next pay grade than they did about the welfare of the soldiers underneath them. The war that we fought(and are still fighting)really was Bush Jr's way of having revenge on Saddam Hussein for Saddam trying to assassinate his father. There are times when I want to move to another country, maybe the UK(as I spent 2 weeks there and in Ireland when I was 18 as a graduation present from my parents and it was beautiful there)or Japan...

Not to disrespect your grandfathers memory or anything of course, but America had an agenda then and it still does. Being educated on recent history and such I dont know what they teach in america but WWII was in no way a victory for your country and a lot of people take offence at you taking credit for a war you had no responsibility in or hand in its ending. Also you're reasons for partaking as the Iraq war. Were entirely selfish and reactionary

We live in the era of information so that countries cant lie to the public any more like they did in WWII. People are finally becoming more cynical and not blindly following orders. Back in 1944 noone had access to internet or even televison and even if they did the news coverage and infrastructure was controlled heavily.
