Hotshot Dam Defense has vanished again?

Well that didn't last long. On EU PC servers, and it seems like Dam Defense Hotshot challenge has been removed from the game again?

I've logged out, restarted client, double-checked, and asked others in the area to check - it's definitely not available anymore.

Seriously the whole patch business is alarming. Randomly half the things that claim to have been fixed aren't really fixed, daily server restarts randomly introduce some of the patches that were meant to have been included originally, while removing other patches that were there briefly.

I'm tempted to stay away for a few weeks and wait until things settle down on the patch front - but, seeing how quickly episode content is removed after being added, I fear missing out on anything. But the patching process feels like Planetside 2 did - Planetside 2 genuinely made me fear what I was going to find had happened to the game after each patch (especially each major patch), rather than look forward to it :/

yeah its gone, geez I did it a few times again last night.
Theres some talk its too easy v reward but its just a quick instance so what?
noticed my weeklys reset and changed it think got a new kill 10 mutants one, wish they would nail that down too.

Arrrr Twitter... I checked the forum announcements (server status & patch notes) but couldn't find anything on it.

Always frustrating when I have to scour various random twitter feeds, facebook pages AND the official forums to find information... still - at least I can rely on others to do that and pass it on! Thanks for the link!

Something about earning a lot of exp fast. I couldn't do it, got gold on it once and couldn't get it again. People say it is easy, but those hellbugs moved too fast.

Yeah I have no idea how people manage so easily.

I wanted to go back to some of the challenges I don't have gold on and try them (I only managed bronze for Dam Defense, in one brief attempt a few days ago when it reappeared).

Haven't managed gold on the chicken shoot one (with a pistol)... the crystal defence one (where you use a grenade launcher and fire down into the pit with the skitterlings attacking various crystals)... Moonshine Shack (where you have a shotgun and get ammo by killing the raiders)... or Dam Defense.

Have really struggled with all of those. I have no idea how so many people have such ridiculously gigantic scores on them!

Still - quite proudly - I have gold on EVERY other challenge... and I am (think I still am!) 2nd place total score on the EU PC servers for the rampage where you attack the incoming 99'ers with a chaingun (can't remember the name of it, near the middle-eastern side of the map) - but that one seems ridiculously easy compared to the above 4 I can barely manage bronze on! :P
