After buying a vehicle, is there really a point of using scrip?

Have any of you lost a weapon, even without selling it? I lost a powerful weapon the VBI TACC Assault Rifle, it just randomly disappeared..

YES! I am only like 450 EGO and got a pretty nice Assault Rifle from a T4 Lockbox I saved up for and within 10 minutes, while teleporting to a group member it disappeared. I submitted a ticket lol. There's a sub-category for it so I'd assume its somewhat common. I still haven't heard back from them and it's almost been 24hrs.

Which I just gotta say is a bad idea, spend a bit of time figuring out some synergy with ur perks based on ur power > based on your play style n level up like a mofo... At 1400 ego rating you can easily have enough 3/3 perks unlocked to suit 2-3 play styles ie if u want a melee heavy blur, snipe heavy cloak or explosives based overcharge... save your scrip and persevere!

The way I figure it scrip would be a trade currency between players.

If someone is selling an item then they are going to want script for it and you wil need scrip to buy it.

The problem is without a decent chat system, auction hall, or a website to advertise items on then it remains useless.

However at some point people will want to trade, so until that point I am going to hoard my scrip.

Repair bills are the most annoying money sink there is.
Green mods for 3k a piece, fast travel costs scip or something along those lines is much better imo.

Next you'll have to buy gas for all your vehicles.. more scrip

There's not dirtbikes yet and they haven't been confirmed as being added. I'm sure they will be though, probably with DLC. You can buy new vehicle colors, new weapons (sometimes the stores have specials which are kinda pricey but they're nice weapons). That's it until they add new things.

why not jetski's too i'd love to pop out one of them when i fall into the water - some clifs just seem to go on forever once you fall off into the water

honestly scrip is pretty much useless ive literally had 8 people group with me and id dive them to the challenger shop spot give them 15500 and let them get one just because i had nothing else to do with it

only thing I buy uses keycode or salvage to make, scrip seems like a unnecessary currency, cars an vendor outfits :/
