I just got an ad in my email about watching Defiance on the 360, so I'm going to say yes. But I don't know if it will go up at the same time or if there will be a short delay (24 hours, maybe longer).
Well this post is about a week late on the start of the show as it started this past monday. I am sure like most they want to get the most money from television ads and hulu plus with it's ads and income. Plus all the other places like amazon ect. The first episode isn't on the syfy app which means I don't think they will be having it there until they get their ideal income amount.
Sadly the best you could do to get it free would be to either watch it on a computer at syfy.com or rent it from amazon and use the app to play it through the xbox 360. If you don't have cable like I wish I didn't have :P then the pc and amazon or hulu plus is your only real choice at this moment.
*edit*
Forgot to add that the xbox 360 whatever the hell it's called video/movie app I guess zune or xbox video will let you rent the season for a fee which is a little bit more than amazon but it's another choice. The season pass is 2000 microsoft points.
Forgot to add that I am stating that the answer is no it's not on the syfy app. Just pointless commercials and 1 min top behind the scenes stuff that isn't of much importance but can give a fan something extra.
It's a joke. Hulu only work in U.S. You can't watch it on SyFy.com. I thought the game and the tv series were meant to go together, that's what is unique about this game but people outside of U.S can't even watch the tv show. No-one over here in UK has hardly heard of the game let alone the tv series as there was little marketing, few ads for the game but that's it. I'm getting forced to go down the torrent route.
I watched the first episode on Xbox Live since I don't have cable...I think it cost 240 microsoft points or soemthing like that.
